Hi (Jets fan here), thought this video was really well done. Wanted to wish you guys good luck in the playoffs and hope that no one gets injured. I honestly think its likely that this round goes to 7 games. Should be a barn burner of a series!
Thank you! I appreciate the support! I wish you guys luck as well. And as much as I hope we win, you guys honestly deserve it more. Hopefully it’s just a good series!
Jets third line is Niedereiter Lowry Appleton. Toffoli plays on the second with Ehlers and Monahan. The Lowry line will get the majority of matchups vs Mackinnon.
The fan in me sees the Avs forcing a game 7 miracle then falling to Dallas in 5, but my pick is the same as yours, jets in 6. I'm still mad we didn't get the jets last year, because we woulda beaten em... Seattle was a total fluke. Avs fan for life, but we got issues at the moment. No D. (epth or efense 😅)
I'm very worried about the outcome of this series. Winnipeg's roster is reminiscent of last year's Seattle in terms of depth and lack of prominent stars. Overall, Winnipeg's lineup looks solid with no weaknesses. Jaret Bednar must come up with something new in the team's tactics, otherwise the series will end very quickly. And the question regarding the goalkeeper line has not been canceled. P.S. Greetings to everyone from the Colorado Avalanche fan club from Russia.
If you think this Jets team is equivalent to last years Kraken, you are sorely mistaken. They are slightly deeper, have a much more elite top 6, better defense and far better goaltending.
@@fernandomora6431 You are absolutely right. I meant that Winnipeg is similar in style to last year's Seattle, only stronger. They'll just physically choke us like Seattle did last year. The Avalanche's speed simply won't be enough if Bednar continues to use this stupid hit-and-run tactic. This tactic worked in 2022, but in 2023 Seattle showed how it can be broken. Bednar is not a very flexible coach in terms of tactics. But I hope for the best.
This series all depends on which Jets we get. If we get their best for 4 games the series will end in 4 games in favour of the Jets. I have the Jets in 5 but I think they can do it in 4. As a Jets fan I think that there are only 3 teams in all the playoffs I’d be worried about. Dallas, Nashville and Florida. Once again this is if Jets are clicking, grinding, working as one and playing their Bonus game. They do that and this is the year they can win the cup. If they fall apart defensively and slow their legs down they start to look like a beer league team. I know Hellebuck and Shiefle want that cup and if the team is on it, it’s theirs for the taking. Having Cole Perfetti, Miller, Gus and Schmidt to swap in if needed, make them crazy dangerous. We also just need to see Pionk be smart with the puck!
I get most folks are picking the Jets and rightfully so. However, what most tend to overlook is that the regular season means very little once the playoffs start. Very different playing a team randomly 3-4 times throughout the course of a full season opposed to the same team every other night until one of them wins 4 games. It allows for coaches to make adjustments to try and expose weaknesses. Also allows for a team that may seem inferior to cast doubt on the team expected to be superior which is one reason there are unexpected upsets almost every year. If the Avs play the Jets the same way they did during the regular season, it will be an early exit for them. If they make adjustments and have some success, game on.
The avs are my favorite team, going all the way back to when they were the nordiques but after Manson and johnson they have small defensemen that can't clear the front of the net. This is why Georgiev gives up so many goals. I love them acquiring trenin, duhaime and middlestat. I like Walker but would have preferred them getting hanifin as he has more size. In the end their D-corp is too undersized to compete, Girard is not needed for offense and his tiny frame is a huge liability. Jets will win this series.
Jets got this if they stay outta the penalty box. Having the Vezina goalie , who just won the Jennings is major and 5 on 5 they have stopped McKinnon all 3 games in the regular season. Jets are rolling all 4 lines. Jets in 5
The Jets winning home ice will have 6'5 Adam Lowry and his oversize linemates painted all over McKinnon and his colleagues. Gonna be interesting. FYI Hellybuck has not been stellar in recent payoffs.
jets fan here. i respect that take on hellebuyck but if u look at the actually stats he is still really good. there just one much defense put in front of him. this year i feel like it will be different because our defense has been better than most years
i love walker and i hope the avs can find a way to keep him. that said though i wish they had went after a shutdown guy. the avs have a ton of puck moving offensive dmen already.
