I have the UAudio plugin version. The technology is amazing. Though I know it truly would never match the real unit....this is extremely close in sound. Tube saturation at it's best. Extremely close.

I have the Avalon 737 and Neumann TLM103, and a Tascam DM 4800 Mixer, So my question would Be, when i connect this to my mixer, would i need to ad more phantom 48+ when its already done on my Avalon, Thanks for the video

I sell an avalon 737 for 700 dollars and counting that my interface is facusrrite 2i4 and micrifono rode nt1000 ,, the question is worth investing that money = '' '??, will significantly improve my voice quality or would it be better to just improve the microphone something like a tlm 103 =? I'm getting ready to push a Mojave 1000 and a lauten Atlantis through this thing they r both extremely detailed w character. Did I mess up by buying this Avalon that I'm receiving tomorrow. ;-( only cause it seems to me it's only fit for a mic w a flat frequency
Casey Cohen well I put my Mojave 1000 thru it today w no eq and little compression. It sounds really silky smooth I'm going to try my fet Lauten Atlantis next I'm glad I finally got this pre amp even after people over at sweetwater continually talk down on this unit why they do is a mystery cuz this thing is golden to my ears. Oh and previously I was running a daking pre/eq and it's really nice it really brings out detail but the signal path in this Avalon is unique to say the least. The only con on the Avalon so far is that it heats my room up fast. Lol
