Wow, I've been dreaming of an Avant with a snowblower, but I live in Newfoundland, so parts and service are are huge part of decision making process. Who knew living on an island in the Atlantic ocean would create problems like that, ha! This was a real eye opener for sure. Has your experience gotten any better? Still have the Avant?
I am really surprised. Here in Australia I have had great service. Not sure if there is a restricted dealer network here cause our dealer/importer just provides great service and support and never had to look anywhere else. Had these machines from their earliest 20hp chain drive, must be 20 years ago, to now with a 745 and a 528. Am looking at upgrading the 745 to the 860, so was checking your channel. Sorry to hear about the crappy dealer stuff
Looking at buying an avant 860I with a grapple mainly for tree work. How did you like your style turf tires? I've not seen any other 860I with that style turf tire pattern.
@@wilhelmsteinert4733 the boom stabalizer is worth it, improves the ride, but you do have to remember to switch it from when travelling to when doing hard work, failing to do so can damage the boom apparently. If your in Canada I am selling mine as it is now too big for my needs. Will be posting a video soon of how great it is in snow
@Brutally Honest Reviews thanks for answering all my questions. I actually have one on order from avant. Should be here in late March 115k usd is not cheap but will be a great addition to our operation. Boy, it wasn't easy getting it ordered with your style turf tires.
Try Tobroco giant! We love ours and they have great guys on there payroll. But your right its all about dealer support and you should always be able to choose
I had looked at them but they kind of screwed their Canadian companies by forcing them to deal through the US and added a lot of costs, lost all their market here as a result.
funny story...I did check them out, drove 90 minutes to see one, the saleman was a kid, lazy and not very nice. I left the company a bad review and the kid decided to start prank calling me for months...I actually was able to trace all the calls back to him.
@@jimdiet8534 I believe so, a bit of a socialism attitude, I even notice better sales and service at American Dennys then anywhere I experience in Canada
