This song is about a boy who has lovelorn and is sad because his girlfriend left him. He lies the whole night on his bed and gazes at the stars. But he already knowed that the relationship wouldn't last forever. But he misses her. Bob Catley is in this song a higher person who intrdouces you in the little story and is something like a human upper.
The Story Ain't Over means something like that the boy is not really finished with this relationship. This always happens in relationships when someone splits up. One is finished with the story (=relationship), the other one is sad and is not finish with the story.

Der Song ist über einen Jungen welcher Liebeskummer hat und traurig ist weil seine Freundin ihn verlassen hat. Er liegt die gesamte Nacht auf seinem Bett und schaut auf die Sterne. Aber er wusste vorher das die Beziehung nicht ewig halten würde. Trotzdem vermisst er sie. Bob Catley ist in diesem Song eine höhere Person welche einen in die Geschichte einführt und als eine Art Aufbauer agiert. The Story Ain't Over (zu dt. Die Geschichte ist noch nicht zuende) bedeutet soviel wie, das der Junge noch nicht mit der Beziehung fertig ist. Soetwas passiert oft in Beziehungen wenn sich einer vom anderen trennt. Einer ist fertig mit der Geschichte (=Beziehung) und der andere hat mit der Geschichte noch nicht wirklich abgeschlossen.
