Oooooh I think the reason for the 0 crit moment is that when you apply a "increase or decrease to 1", you actually apply a bonus/minus to reach the specified number. In this case, since Oswald is activated "At the end of the battle this unit boosted a vanguard", he applies a -1 crit to reach the value of 1 crit since Eugene is currently on 2 crits. Tribash applies his +1 crit "until end of that battle", so it goes another -1 crit after the end of that battle, so after Oswald resolves and already applied his -1. That's god damn awful for poor Eugene, but I don't think it's a bug. Oswald just too restrictive.
@@theholyfire6609 it is not a bug. Oswald will set crit to 1 before Tribash stops applying, and when Tribash stops applying the +1 crit from it will vanish, going to 0.
So i search tribash effect up it said when your vanguard attack if your opponent has 2 or less rear guards your vanguard get +1 critical until the end of battle. However if you happen to Oswald effect in the wrong timing Eugene will get 0 critical because the opponent didn't resolved tribash end of battle effect first which caused this to occur which being said it possibly might be a bug who knows maybe its not.
it's not. "set X to 1" really means "it gets stat + X", where X = (1 - current value) unlike yugioh where it overrides addition/subtraction. So Eugene is during the battle crit 1+1, after Oswald resolves it's 1+1-1, and after Tribash stops applying, 1-1. (You can't stop applying Tribash before Oswald triggers due to how timings work)
