Avatar Arti Connecting with Dr. Pillai Through Light and Mantra
In this video, Dr. Pillai introduces the Avatar Arti practice, a ritual to connect with his divine presence and invoke transformative energies. To begin, you will need a statue or picture of Dr. Pillai, a ghee lamp, CH light, or candle.
Start by picking up the light with your right hand or both hands, and move it in a clockwise direction, beginning at the 6:00 position and ending at the same spot. As you show the light to the statue or picture of Dr. Pillai, chant the Moola Mantra provided by the Pillai Center.
Dr. Pillai emphasizes relaxation and focused intention during this practice to change your destiny. He demonstrates performing the Avatar Arti three times, guiding participants to connect deeply with him.
First, gaze into Dr. Pillai’s eyes with your physical eyes, then chant the mantra, “Om Ai Shreem Hreem Shiva Babaji Saha.” As you chant, visualize the light being received by Dr. Pillai and pulled into your own eyes. Close your eyes and pull this light into your third eye, or pineal gland, in the midbrain. See the flame glowing brilliantly in your third eye, filling your entire brain.
Visualize Dr. Pillai in his light body form within your third eye. Feel this luminous white light filling your forehead, eyes, ears, nostrils, cheeks, chin, mouth, and lips. Experience your body turning into liquid light, filled with bliss and unconditional love.
Merge with the Guru, becoming one with his divine presence. Make a sincere prayer to Dr. Pillai, asking him to fulfill your wishes and solve your problems. Slowly open your eyes, maintaining this connection and feeling the profound transformation within you. Repeat this process three times to deepen your connection and experience the full benefits of the Avatar Arti practice.
