I tried ABel when I first bought the game. Liked his flashiness but didn't quite grasp the combo routes for big pp damage, everything seemed to cost him just as much hp as he was dealing. Suddenly, I now have the urge to go back and try "bottom three character" again.
While the character brings suffering I'd be lying if I said he wasn't mad fun to play. Got the swaggiest conversions in the game and his kit feels really cool to use too

People complaining about Abel's low health is understandable, but the ones that complain about him about hurt during their long combos are kinda dumbo tbh. Ya'll shouldn't cashing out if it ain't worth it in the first place
"Just dont spend health" is a really solid tactic until you start playing at higher levels. Without spending health the character may as well just not exist. Its not even about cashing out. Even regular bnbs for 5k damage cost health to do. You can always decide to just not spend health on combos until you are sure it will kill. But then you'd also be giving yourself a bigger burden to work with as you'd now have to win far more interactions than before to keep pressure and get your damage in
@@theHMCenthusiast Oh yeah I know about his health tax even though he already has low health, but the amount of people that justifies Abel's cashout combo "not being that good" because it costs a lot of health just baffles me
@@areiy6427 oh no. The cash out combo is really good. The only problem lies with the fact that he's losing almost half his health to do the same damage everyone else is doing for 100 meter and less effort

More or less the same tbh. He swaggier than ever but got glass bones and paper skin. That in itself isn't too bad but he also got stage 4 cancer too. Caused by none other than himself. He sucks. Badly. In need of help. Still waiting for arcsys to add him to the game. But he's mad fun tho
Thanks bro, unfortunately I always suffered with him because of how easy he was to kill and get killed when I played him in Vanilla Granblue but he was damn fun to play, that's why I tried other characters like Zooey, Vira and Djeeta lastly before the announcement of Rising. I hope the new mechanics help him a little at least.
@@NeroArisato he's not really changed that much. He's more or less in the same spot as vanilla. Bottom 3. You just really gotta know how to play around the health drain. And even then one right guess is all your opponent needs to just delete you. It's rough but if you are determined enough you can make it work
@@theHMCenthusiast Hopefully I reached rank S at the time with him in Vanilla, from there it is difficult because your opponents know how to deal with him, a shame that his normal counterpart was one of the best in the game hahahaha. Also curious about the new characters.
@@NeroArisato the new characters are great. Nier and Siegfried are top tiers. Nier being absolutely obnoxious. Grimnir is really good but also quite difficult to play. Anila was low tier until recently. Lucilius is pretty decent. I don't know what game 2b is playing but it ain't granblue. And vane is.... eh. He's aiit I guess.
