Probably my favorite band right now. They also seem like really wholesome people. I love that Johannes doesn't always feel obligated to wear his makeup and costume for interviews. This one he did cause it was at an event, but in a lot of others, he doesn't, and I find that very admirable. Also, the people who walked by and yelled at them that they suck during this interview, suck. That was so fucking rude.
Would be nice if South Park did an episode with Avatar like the one they did with Korn years ago. They would be great for a halloween episode, even if they were only side characters that come on briefly before being raped to death by manbearpig and al gore :-P
This definitely shows there's 2 different Johannes. This one is the Johannes who is the real person. Then you have the stage and music video Johannes. He completely turns it on and we have this amazing stage presence that we all know and love.
I met these guys and had a nice convo with a couple of them after a show in the states and they are really chill guys who love their fans \m/ great band
One of their better interviews IMO. And THANK YOU for captioning the questions. No one can seem to figure out how to do that, especially when the interviewer doesn't have a microphone.
Seen you guys when you started your world tour here in the usa at smoking aces in mcallen Texas, been following you and turning all my friends on to your music, the kings harvest and night never ending is a vast contrast of different styles that blow my mind,i fiddle with a guitar and just blown away by you guys...
I do know and understand that this is a old feed but what is the name of your new album I do like the way how you guys sing your acting because you guys are more like a combination of in my opinion Nordic metal mixed with shock Rock of Alice Cooper and a tad bit of Marilyn Manson that's just what how I get it if that's not it please by all means let me know
To be fair the development of Avatar (movie) already began back in the 1990's, it was meant to be filmed in the 1997's right after Titanic and released in 1999, 2 years BEFORE the band came together. James Cameron then decided where the CGI was at that time, it would not fulfill his vision of the movie, and therefore he choose to wait with the movie. So saying he ''stole'' their name isn't correct. To the matter of fact no one ''stole'' anything for anyone, since Avatar (the band) didn't knew about the script for obvious reasons, and James Cameron, didn't know about the band for obvious reasons aswell.
Tailer Roberts Do your research, James Cameron took over 25 years to create the movie. He waited for the technology to be good enough for the movie to be made. He had the scripts and name down for over 20 years.
Johannes kinda comes across as one of those frontmen who tries to talk over his bandmates in most of this interview, at least until the South Park question
Nice makeups clowns. You'd be more interesting if you spent more time on your music instead of applying the makeup and slobbing on each others bland butt trickle.
