This was done at level 16. Black Wind Bow 260 dmg, all exquisite clothing except headband. All RDA damage mods that i had, else weakspot. I also packed some Fury II and Fury III snacks. BRING A LOT OF SPARE PARTS. If you don't have spare parts go get them. I blanket the laser room with trip mines due to the number of reinforcements in there. You can get them at the smaller RDA field installations and each Resistance Lab in the field. The Laser Lens room strat is heavy on trip mines.

I love the sling against AMPs. It's not stealthy, but it will take them out!

If they went red on you that means someone saw. Most likely it was one of the two in the office near the guy. When you try again, make sure they aren't near the window. @@williamwoerner714

Jeepers! I crashed floof onto the roof from a great height.."I'm so smart!"...two days later, i'm through! Into this giant room with very nasty music.....I may never get out of this stupid building..i'll try this tomorrow...my nerves are shredded.

Well played. A thinking person's perspective salted with tactically sound advice. I'm new to the game because I like buying finished products But I've seen far too many level 8's storming the castle clusterfooks of streaming. I'm level 19, but I like playing a game deeply, and in the way, it was meant to be played. I wanted a feel for the environs. You gave me that. Thank you. BTW, I retired from the gaming industry from the studio that became Rockstar West, so... that's high praise coming from me.

Wow.I had to give in .I killed two lots of baddies, with just standard arrows, and the shotgun,....only to get wiped out by the laser, when turning the valves( i'm level 7)....oooh...no save for that whole section....i'm annoyed. I will now drink whisky. (I'm 60, so i've seen some things man.....but this....grrrr)

Hahaha, that laser can be mean. Maybe spend some time in Upper Plains first and get some upgraded gear and try again? I tried it at level 16. You said you're level 7. :)

oh nuts....it's taken me hours to get this far through this base....and i have nothing . No arrows, ..i am now sad. I can see the rocket launcher thingy ,...but alas, ...so far away....i grow weary, and I am to bed. Maybe try again on easy.....hummm.....not happy.....

Look around for those buckets of sticks. That'll get you some arrows. Good luck!

Didn't know about laying out the bombs as traps! Great idea. Will have to try that. Made 30 attempts in this room-no luck.

after watching this and playing that so many times i beat it at lvl 14 and i went in without any spare parts. I just hid on top of the right laser and killed the humans without alerting the AMPs. Then turned all the valves and shot the towers without them finding me. Took a lot of runs to figure out the perfect spot. It’s the right laser lol.

@@EmmieJacob yea i tried to do the furnace room stealthily by drawing the AMPs away from the room but then the one that comes thru the door will see you. But if you wanted to try the right laser in the laser room i got it without fighting any AMPs.

Every field lab has a loot box that has around 5 in it. Then each of the rda sites has one or more loot boxes of parts. Look for the small yellow boxes.

Out of curiosity, what happens if you try to brute force your way through the slag pit? Sneaking around is my preferred option but I can fight if given a decent snipers nest seeing as I like to get rid of any RDA, especially the AMPs, before I do anything if I can help it

You can try. I was never able to do it, but outside of backtracking in the previous room, there isn't really a safe place to hang out. I was never able to snipe everyone without someone seeing something.
