Subscribe to not miss the next Avatar video: bit.ly/1S7oa8K Here are my thoughts after playing the game: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GVZSMv3M20Q.html
should have let guerilla games make this. 3rd person, beautiful colorful world on Decima engine (burning shores was super gorgeous), flying mounts, etc all the foundation already exists.
This is such a cool looking game. It looks like a Farcry/Avatar game with outpost to take down stealth or loud/crazy, plus a scanner to locate enemies, which is awesome, in my opinion. I just hope you can save the game easily, I can't wait to play this in December... I'm totally excited to explore the world of Pandora and take down the Sky people, I really hope the map is really big and if you can hunt, similar to original Farcry games, I hope they also add skinning animations and interesting stealth take downs, cause I love thoughs kinda things in games like this.
I really hope they add underwater exploration/ swimming on the coasts (given the latest film) It would make a great mix: having flying, jungles, and tropical beaches / underwater swimming
I hope they can add a 3rd person mode, im sure thats doable. Because i feel this game would be more immersive if we could see the character in the world. Let me know if this is a stretch and 3rd person wont be possible
Huh? First person is more immersive because you ARE the character. Third person is less immersive because you see your character as seperate from your camera.
@@Arniox yeah but I feel it's more emersive as you see the character moving and the world around the character rather than just a floating camera in the amazing world
This game looks great. Beautiful, gameplay looks polished, and the HUD is very stylized to that world. I think I'll wait until January though when I've finished building my PC; first-person is dizzying for me at lower console framerates. Outside of requests for 3rd person and complaints about it being "Far Cry reskinned," I think people are just hating because they have it in for the IP. It's like we get it-Avatar isn't your thing. Go away then lol.
Ubisoft, I hoped for it with the release of Motor Fast, but I was disappointed with the release of Mirage, especially since they did not use Dual Sense at all. I hope this will be good.
@@kibathefang6022 I could install far cry 5 or 6, both games I have never played, and put up better gameplay than this in my first hour. but I'm also not even talking about their ability to land shots, or avoid enemy fire. Other things like, for one, showcasing the movement the game provides. I've watched gameplay demos now from other content creators who have high praise for the parkour and mobility that this game has, which you would never know was even in the game from watching this footage. Watching this gameplay I started to get nervous that the game might not even have sprinting, because they just walked to and fro, even while getting shot at. Also failing to engage with the game cerebrally, like when they're assaulting the RDA outpost on their Ikran, rather than flying overhead and scouting out and assessing the stronghold with their Na'vi senses, they just fly towards it, immediately shoot the first person they see, then landing their Ikran and walking away from it in the middle of the outpost while getting shot at instead of using their aerial advantage in any way whatsoever, and then just standing there repeatedly shooting arrows at the mech while it unloads on them with their machine gun. And the most egregious, unforgivable example of all, their failure to engage or roleplay along with the fact that they are playing as a Na'vi, barely managing to kill the 3 guys guarding the Hammerhead animal locked in a cage, and then walking up to it and releasing it, and then shooting it from behind and killing it as it ran away. It's pretty sad this person got to demo this game when they're clearly not even a fan of Avatar.
The visuals look really good. But knowing this is developed by Ubisoft I can't help but to think of the graphical/visual downgrade come launch. They did it with Watch Dogs and Rainbow Six Siege. I hope they won't do it but I just cant help but think about it.
FarCry is the most action packed shooter there is from gameplay perspective. With all the crazy elements of fighting and shooting u can think of on a distand island with a story about very twisted and thin moral lines. This Avatar game is a 1st person shooter aswell. But the movement, world and gameplay in that world and of the main charactor looks more like a shooter in a wonderland like world. Like the leaves that make u jump around and the crazy animals in that game that u can tame and have their own abilities. It will feel and play completely diffrent. And I think its sad that people dont see the diffrence or that its not known what makes FarCry special. But I do get why u think like that.
@@AMT_AllMyThoughtsSo in other words reskinned FC Primal. Only difference is meat boost is replaced with plants boost. Same game, same liberation areas with same low IQ ai's with hacking system added in.
@@AMT_AllMyThoughtsBtw you literally explained Far Cry that started to be after 4th game. Either you didn't play FC franchise (excluding 1 and 2) or you're blind. Literally has same dizzy movement in cutscenes just like in Primal.
@@SeriousDragonify U mean after FarCry 3 not 4. The first was like an over the top action movie as a shooter. They had a very strong engine for that game so they would go for a more serious and highly immersive approach with FarCry 2. Wich many players found to be too serious, hard and just lacked the style of the first. But many people also loved it for what it was. So they combined the over the top action humor and gameplay but made it look realistic and immersive in FarCry 3 by setting it on a wild distand island that is full of dangers AND crazy people so they can do their ober the top action stuff but make it realistic. Since then the series has found its balance and identity and kept it.
They played it in 1080p. With the game so close to release and all the postponements I would hold off on expecting many great improvements. We will see in 6 weeks time when they/we can play the final product.
@@ettepet9308 Yes I found this out later. Ik it will be basically the same but from other people's footage, the forests and views still look pretty impressive even in his other video, I think it will look solid without compression but I hope there are other unique areas. The main problems will be in other areas like the lack of stealth takedowns and melee weapons, bad skill tree apparently and open world activities.
Literally just looks like far cry primal with blue skin, a flying mount dlc and guns. 😂 Why do people still buy there games? They literally keep releasing the same thing over and over again.
Am I the only one who thinks the game looks like a cut-down Far Cry? Only here there is no close combat, no beautiful animations of finishing moves, etc. It’s as if Yubisovt threw all his strength at Assassin and Star Wars, and made Avatar more “don’t care.”
