Personally i feel like it's a good move, like they said it's to draw the player into the world for better immersion. Though i do agree not having the option is only limiting us players.

It's probably programmed the same way Cyberpunk 2077 is to where when you enter 1st person your character model isn't animated properly and stuff - its a whole other thing to have 3rd person animations that match the first person animations you can already see. Tremendous amount of work/.

I am looking forward to this, can’t wait. I do wish there were options to switch between first and third person. The audio of Pandora combined with this perspective feels like you need to keep looking over your shoulder in case a creature try to attack 😅

Same boat with the Far Cry comments. It’s not necessarily “bad” but this is a straight up Avatar themed FC. Ubisoft also clearly hasn’t gathered that the vast majority of people hate their extremely repetitive formula…

the air battle is so amazing, the world is so beauztiful in the dark, it will be a great game, bows for hunting and stealth kills, machine gun for air battles, i know i will spend manny hours in this game to upgrade everythign to max level, what i would like is a companion like stuff, where you can choose 2 animals or navi as partner and summon them during battle, like sum,moning and riding a viperwolf

Viperwolves are too small to ride. And you can only ride those that Na’vi canonically ride. And you can’t summon animals. This is not a fantasy world with magic and dragons. And viperwolves are not pets. They are wild animals.

@@kayzee3595 well in the movie the navi princess has ridden on a grown up viperwolf wehn the animals attacked the soldiers in teh final battle, the viperwolfs in the demo videos are not even adult ones, more like teenagers, adult ones get much bigger, and nobody say anythign about magic, i say summon like making special noises and some kind of animal appears or 1 or 2 random Navi NPC who help in battle, since it is basicly Far cry in Avatar style, so no reason to act like a asshole

Because they want to give us an immersive SPECIAL experience. Not a sandbox where they would throw you to do whatever mess you want and however you want until you get bored… This is why I hated new Hitman games. They got brilliant level designs and gameplay features. But because of the freedom they give, all these features become obsolete.

What made you think this is basically a farcry? 🤔 First person perspective? Millions of other games are designed this way. 🤓 An open world? Millions of games have it. 🤗 Guns, bows and arrows? You can find these not only in first person games as well as in third person games, you can find these in real life as well. I know! That’s insane, isn’t it? 🤯🫣 Wildlife? ok the game has great looking textures on the rocks mountains Vegetation great lighting Inside caves there is moisture the water looks good the world looks alive I see creatures and life and not just big empty world with nothing in it day and night cycle the Vegetation moves from the wind you got combat stealth guns story exploration the flying creatures look pretty good especially the eyes now for the things that need Improvements the na'vi look a little plastic and clipping through objects that needs to be improved other than that looks pretty good there is definitely a game here I hope it doesn't crash and no T. Posing npcs

Am I the only one who thinks the game looks somehow... wrong? I don't really get Pandora feelings from it, the jungle is quite earth-like, lighting is very bright and white, maybe lack of proper light scattering, and worst of all, the na'vi look horribly plastic...

Niveau graphisme, le jeu a l'air de manquer de scintillement, de couleur, de densité, de nuages volumétriques dans les îles volantes, d'imprpession de grandeur Le gameplay à l'air standard pour Ubisoft, manque de profondeur pour le jeu qu'aurait je penses plus mérité un univers narratif à la God if War, peut être plus dirigé aussi tout en gardant l'open World . La bande sonore manque aussi à mon sens, celle d'Avatar est si belle il serait génial d'avoir un musique ambiante pour s'imergé dans ce monde ..

I don’t what’s your problem. You either have a serious visual problem or suffer from extreme hallucinations. The graphics of this game are reaching today’s highest achievable level if not exceeding it. Show me a game with better graphics! You’ll probably just show me a game with stylistic visual choices rather than real realistic imagery. And the gameplay is deeper than you could’ve imagine. The whole world is interactive and affects you as well as you affect it. You just need to open your eyes wider.

Looking forward to this but hope i can change settings so it don't make me feel sick, prefer 3rd person for that ;-( and being a Ubisoft release I expect PC freezes because the UBI games i have run 100% cpu en 60% gpu which causes the cpu to freeze. Or they need to release Vulkan drivers. Can you advise you cpu v gpu usage?

No. It should be a game with highly detailed design that gives all the players one specific experience. What you asking is some sandbox where players are thrown to do any mess they want until they get bored. This why I hated new hitman games. In my opinion, I'd rather stay wary than start dying with anticipation for this game, it has yet to be played fully when it releases. Also, keep your expectations low, this game came out of nowhere and you wouldn't want hype to blind you of the uncertainty of it being good or not.

i wonder if will the ikran be customizable in the final game, i have nothing against the one given to us by default on the game, looks cool and way better than the one we got on the 2009 game but i´d love it if we could choose it´s colors and patterns, instead of just putting on some cosmetic stuff like ornamental saddles or waiting for pc mods that might not be possible or probably will either be black and white variants or weird neon recolors instead of good looking ones. Also would be cool to see the leonopteryx and be able to ride it but we all know that won´t happen

@@philipmohlin3887 i'm not comparing them, i'm just saying i hope the ikran is not generic and you get to customize it unlike the last game, not only via paid skins which is what we'll probably get but actual customization of your mount because it seems we'll get a generic one just like the past game because the banshee rookery mission seems to have the same color banshees multiple times based on the videos unless the final game is different

Really wanted third person option for a game like this. The excuse is to emerge the player. 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s literally a choice. Plenty of FPS already. Wanted this to compete with Horizon Zero Dawn. See Ubisoft had a chance to change the formula instead it’s basically Far Cry Avatar.
