As character that started off very one note he has the potential to go down as one of the most memorable villains in movie history.

My fav Avatar character and what a wonderful tribute to him and Stephen Lang’s performance!!!

Miles Quaritch is not a villain. He is a badass veteran sent to be head of security. His loyalty lies with the human race. He was doing his job! The RDA tried the diplomatic approach. Reaching out to the Na'vi, teaching them how to read, do math, offering to uplift them, build houses, roads... It didn't work. They want their mud and their tree houses. So if the carrot doesn't work... you use the stick. To everyone who consider Quaritch a villain, think about this... If the Na'vi weren't pretty slender blue people, but something ugly and unappealing like xenomorphs, everyone would consider him a hero and root for the RDA. Jake Sully is the real villain. A traitor who gave up on his entire species and everything humanity has done to evolve and invent for sex with one blue alien woman. Him uniting the Na'vi against the humans is the worst thing he could have done to the Na'vi. All of their deaths are on his hands. He chose to start a war... and we (humanity) are gonna end it!

The cuts between human Quaritch and his recom self are amazing!! You nailed it; I particularly liked the section with Spider, showing how he does care about something more than this mission for the first time. Incredible work ❤

In war we have to de-humanuze our enemy. I think Quaritch actually cares about aaving Earth and humanity. He was already a veteran before Pandora, now it seems like he found a fight he actually believes in and with Spider he's got a huge conflict within himself about what his real priorities are.

It was very interesting to hear the dialogue of him talking about the dead soldiers while simultaneously seeing his face as Lyle shows him the damage. This character is very interesting to me, and he has more depth with ATWOW out. Fantastic work!

Honestly,I want to think that Quaritch is one true protagonist in the series not Jake and his family but him.I think in the next movie he becomes exile from both sides of conflict.Maybe even Eywa has plans on him and Grace’s daughter.Human in body Na’vi who’s want a protect humanity at any costs.

По моим ощущениям Кворич из всех мужских персонажей больше всех похож на мужика. Он ходит, говорит и ведёт себя как мужик, хотя и обозлённый. В Джейке и Тоновари чувствуются элементы женского. Многие недоумевают почему он кому-то нравится. Он привлекает своими мужскими качествами. Нам нравятся разные вещи Спасибо за ролик!

In Avatar TwoW, I really missed the real Quaritch, the human one. It's good to see him back but it's not the same thing, I don't really see him as Colonel Quaritch, THE COLONEL Quaritch in Avatar 2.

Miles Quaritch is ironically a fusion of the two most evil Disney villains: Commander Rourke from "Atlantis" and Percival McLeach from "The Rescuers Down Under". He both has zero regards for natives and clearly enjoys killing and torturing animals, literally the worst of the worst. He is also proof that we do not need these tragic, sympathetic villains for a movie to work. Quaritch is pure evil and has no remorse for anything or anyone and he clearly enjoys doing it. A one dimensional asshole at its very best.
