I remember Johannes was once at our school as a substitute teacher for a German class. He was really cool, he introduced us to Avatar and taught us some singing techniques. It was really cool and he was really nice as well!

How awesome! Do you perhaps remember any of those singing techniques? I've been trying to practice a form of vocal fry screaming like he (and many other metal artists) employ in their songs but now matter how many different tutorial videos I watch, I just can't seem to get it down. Should you remember any tips he gave that would be awesome ;)

I saw Avatar live in JOLIET ILLINOIS they killed it!!! Jo knows how to get the crowd going crazy!

Saw Avatar in Manchester UK in 2014 i think in a tiny club opening for a band called The Defiled. I was in love with the band and i am now. Seeing them again on main stage 1 at Hellfest 2017. I'm thrilled to see how far they've come. I hope they continue to become the legends they deserve to be.

Yep this is what I thought too,they literally don't need to loose weight they are all soo fit.. Seriously what weight Johannes should loose,he is already in perfect shape😜
