vlogsvert69 i that and the guy who made this bankrupted himself and his company. I read that disney bought it pretty cheaply and might try and make the movies.
How on Earth (or Pandora) will the other movies go ANYWHERE when this movie requires no sequels. The story has been told. Why expand on it except to make a cash-in? Cameron is crazy to even consider a sequel, let alone four of them!
I still wish I couldve seen this movie in theaters when it first came out, it has to have one of the greatest final battles i've ever seen in film history! I get chills just from watching it through my computer, so I cant imagine the experience people had on the big screen!!
yep. the new composer is Horner's former assistant. and he used his notes to write it. it is serviceable, but not very memorable. Jim needs a new composer for his remaining sequels, someone of Horner's same caliber. maybe Zimmer.
This score is so well done, for a movie where two HUMONGOUS army's go to war! It's so epic and it fit in so well for what's going on, on the screen! The first part of the soundtrack is the build up, the preparation for battle! All the gunships are firing up their engines and taking off! Okay look, go watch the movie or just a clip of the whole thing! It's so well made!
I remember years ago when I had the great privilege of listening to this whole set live. Oh, to see that again and truly appreciate it would be such a pleasure!
9:40 is the single most heart ripping piece of music I can think of. It's when Neytiri and Jake say I see you as a human. Freaking heart strings are tugged to max.
The part from 03.37 onwards is sooo amazing!! 7/4 with a 3/4 beat inbetween and then 3 4/4s... it's sooo elaborate and really drives the piece forward in a very unique way .. have always loved James Horners music, but this is one of my faves!
I did one of my gymnastics routines to this! its was super fun. I was one of the main avatars and everyone in the routine was great and just the whole thing was mind blowing. After we were done performing we got a standing ovation
@@blountman747 judging by the trailers i think the plot is more focused towards the younger characters.. Jake Sully and his badass moments imo were the best part of the original..i hope they do the same in the sequel
@@bloody_outlaw8000 I think so. I hope they don't side line him to much but I also hope other don't judge the movie to much on that if that happens. It is a 3hris movie so I think we'll be fine
@@blountman747 just like the first one..the backlash is unavoidable.. mainly from mcu Fanboys because avatar is still the highest grossing film of all time and the cgi is so much better even if it came out 13 years ago..
@@Jiterdomer Ik he plagiarized songs in kai but I didn’t know he decided to steal from such a great movie like this until I listened carefully to the goku frieza fight and this
Cj Kalandek Look up "The Ebb And The Flow" from the Dragon Ball Kai Soundtrack, that theme is way too similar to War for it to be a mere coincidence. Kenji Yamamoto the composer is known to have plagiarised some music when he used to work for Toei Animation, when working on the Dragon Ball Z Soundtracks. He got fired from the company years ago, there are various articles on this all over the Internet.
Oscar Dawson Warhammer 40k. A setting where the official Imperium of Man (human civilization) foreign policy to sapient alien lifeforms is "burn it with holy fire". Many agree that Avatar would have been a much better movie if the Imperium of Man had come to call on Pandora and not the mercenary forerunners of the Colonial Marines.
I predict that Earth will send a new military force to Pandora to recapture the planet, burdening Jake and the Na'Vi to once more protect their lushious planet from the greed and desperation of Earth. I also don't exclude the possibility that there will be conflict between different Na'Vi tribes, perhaps following another attack from Earth, or preceeding it. And anyone with good instinct, a good eye and/or the limited special edition, will already know something about Jake's personal storyline.
well if you remember, James cameron has created amazing sequels out of nothing, like Aliens, Terminator: Judgment Day, Piranha 2: the spawning, Rambo II, so yeah i think it will be just as good.
The Avatar game (PC version) is technically a prequel. It's said to have started 2 or 3 years before the movie actually takes place. The story of the game is that the humans are trying to control the Na'vi through a "Well of Souls" a very old tree on Pandora that is said to be the main control system of spiritual trees. Your character is Ryder, who must either choose to fight for the humans or the Na'vi (Same thing for Jake in the movie too) I believe the game acts as a supplement for the movie
I'm preeeeetttty sure that a ton of people searched up this track after hearing that Kenji Yamamoto had based the OST track, "Ebb and Flow" for Dragon Ball Kai, from this.
Para mi avatar es la mejor película jamás vista, una obra maestra, nos hace ver que el ser humano es un virus en su totalidad. Imposible contenerme las lágrimas con este film y avatar 2
Lol I was thinking the same thing! This part would have been amazing in the actual movie and for whatever reason someone made the decision to cut this part.
