That's the reason I don't really like the songs that have come out so far for this album. lol

Kevin I love it all, what ever they want to do I'm down for it. I hear a lot of influences that went into this, I even hear A little bit of the softer Black Sabbath sounds in my opinion, I hear classic 80's all over this. I don't see anything wrong in dabbling in classic it's better than dabbling in mainstream. This song by far is the most different, but different is not bad. You don't want to keep making the same tune over and over Not even Alice Cooper did that especially with his new album, I only heard some short clips of the songs but I like them.

Nobody said they had to make it all the same. I like the majority of their songs on the last 3 albums. Didn't really care for the first album. Some of their lighter songs like Tower and Sky Burial are my favorites. I just don't like the 80's metal/Iron Maiden type music.

Kevin I do, I just dislike when people are so quick to be like they need to go back to their roots, they themselves have said they don't consider themselves a certain genre. It's the comments that I keep seeing, but I wasn't going to not reply when someone comments me. Just my opinion not trying to fight, but if you dislike it I don't I love it.

yeah many ppl don't seem to get what Avatar themselves stated often enough: they are always changing their style. Ska-metal stuff would be bloody awesome tho. I mean on FnF they did abit of a death-country tune with black waters. Or the death-country and drop-of-hawaiian mixup they did with use your tongue.

Well, I can certainly ask at least some of them. 1. What exactly was going through their head when they decided to make such a song that is way more soft than the rest of their songs? 2. What exactly is the plot of the video? 3. Why the cowbell? 4. I mean, seriously, why the cowbell? 5. What's with all the tanks? 6. What exactly is the one guy behind the blue magic barrier shooting at the big red magic barrier? 7. Why are average soldiers sent to fight against tanks? 8. Why do the soldiers have shields which cannot at all protect them against the weaponry of their enemies? They would have to be the ones way more well-equipped? 9. WHY THE GODFORSAKEN COWBELL? 10. How can a drummer have so much stage presence, be so good looking and well-fitting and still look like a troll impostor? 11. Why do I still like the song and listen to it? I don't think I actually even like it, but it's Avatar so I like it. Kind of. Yea so those would be some questions to start with.

Agree. It's music which means it just so happens to be entirely subjective and everyone will view it differently and trying new things is smart because everyone should know that a one trick pony is worthless.

@Holden Mcgroine Slayer sucks hardcore except for a few songs. They're only better than Anthrax, and that's because they've always been awful. There are a lot of bands with rough vocals. I'd suggest branching. If you haven't already.

Just found this band the other day, so far I like everything old and new but I especially like this sound, this is right up my alley. 100% agree with your comment. I have listened to A LOT of different music during my short life and at least 50% of it I don't care much for these days. Music tastes change, if bands have to play one style of music their whole career then fans should only listen to one type of music their whole lives... Can you imagine how lame that would be.I know musicians whos music went down a different path than me, but I appreciate all the good memories of good music I have from them and I like to show that appreciation by not hating on their new stuff or calling it shit.
