@@TheeFURNAS_ It took me a while to figure out Targeting Shot, Link Shot and Scatter Shot, and I still wonder if Split Shot is good for only some weapons or does it work well with all weapons etc.

Thank you! For the longest time, I just assumed poison does damage. This was helpful.

Most poison items deal a flat dmg in addition to the general dmg buff % (poison aura, poison strike, poison storm)

I’d like to note that metal rod, oil can, poison vial, and ice cube are standard perk damage increases that apply their damage boost when the enemy is afflicted by that status condition. For example, if you have oil can (+25%) and glass cannon (+250%), you deal +250% vs normal enemies and +275% vs burning enemies.

did variety update 2 change anything for debuffs

Not TOO much. Some general balance tweaks to some elemental mods/perks. Poison dmg buff now also applies to incoming fire/lightning dmg so pairing poison with a 2nd element is a lot more viable.
