Naruto Forever Ozai found out that she was still talking to her childhood friend/sweetheart and was pissed and her her a choice to make, her life or Zuko's, she chose to get kicked out and returned back to her home which was in a remote poor village, she hated her good looks and decided to get a new identity/face from the spirit that lived close to her village, the spirit said that it could grant her a new face and identity and name, however the consequences would be that she'll forget everything from her past, all the suffering she faced, she'll forget about Ozai, Azula and more importantly Zuko, she hesitated since she loved Zuko a lot, however she went through with it in the end and forgot everything, got married to her childhood sweetheart and lived her life happily in her home village where she even had a child or two. Zuko eventually finds her and she regains her memory after Aang talked to the spirit, Zuko's mom apologized to him (and Azula) and promised to tell him everything from the very beginning. And that's how that story ended. there are still more comics that came out afterwards, this particular one about Zuko's mom is called "The Search" and was originally divided into 3 parts

@@peaceforever1963 Uhhh no, no that's not right. It's got similarities but no. It actually got kinda dark. She was abused badly. And we see more in azula's crazed mind. And well things get dark.. if you still haven't read it I'd suggest it, you could actually probably find somthing online for free..
