If only NASA ever did send a space probe traveling at least 10% of the speed of light in 40 years, and sending actual photos of another world with blue and green, and half dark side of the planet has lights from bioluminescent nature, and that is something I wish to see irl some day in the future.

Loved these movies. They are emotional because the humans in it are where we are. Destroying our planet with no connection to the nature around us. I always find myself rooting for the Navi and against the humans. We have a beautiful world but we are takers, not givers. This movie should remind us of what we could have.

There are a TON of spectacular movies out there so it's hard to say if this is the greatest movie ever. Impossible to answer something like that. But one thing I can say for a fact, without hesitation is that....I have never been quite moved from beginning to end like I have been with the Avatar movies. And since I am a human being that "feels" it's these kinds of stories combined with soothing and ethereal imagery that resonates with me the deepest. No doubt....I was moved beyond belief. Comparable to a spiritual or meditative experience and to me that goes deeper than other films that may actually be better at being "films." So hard to say as the Avatars to me go well beyond just film making. Check it out....I sound like I'm preaching now....*facepalms*

Such a beautiful movie with values, breathtaking visuals, mesmerizing acting, and an amazing soundtrack. Unfortunately these sad moments especially when the Tulkun mother and calf, and Neteyam pass away, they will stop me from rewatching this movie. Same went for Avatar. I have the Blue Ray but I can't watch again due to the emotional scenes.

I’m a landscaper.. I’ll listen to this while I work and, frankly; we live on pandora. Butterflies dance, the flicker of sunlight on spider webs, the golden eagles cruising low looking like dinosaurs . The waves crashing down in the bay, sparkle like diamonds from my vantage point on the mountainside. Get outside. It’s out there. The only difference is that the soundtrack is the wind.

While listening to this in the shower the other night I had an experience. One I’d never felt before. I’d closed my eyes while trying to relax but my head was spinning. Images flashed in my mind like frames in a film but every frame was different and obscure. In desperation I called out for an anchor of guidance. I wanted to think straight. I begged for order. As I pled, eventually I hung my head in the stream of water. Then out of nowhere my thoughts cleared and words were spoken through me. I was told that it is in my hands to unlock my mind, body, and soul. The key was held but not in use. I was responsible for curing myself. You will only find me through yourself, and yourself through me. In that moment my head cleared, except for a pair of eyes staring clean into my soul. The color was like the reflection of a mirror. I felt the warmth of the mother through the water and the energy of the universe staring at me. I now officially believe in the higher powers that be because of this moment. I no longer feel lost.

Be careful, my friend. Don't let yourself get immersed in spiritual things that you don't know where they're coming from. They can easily lead you astray because you don't know what's really going on. There are spirits that are out there to destroy you, and they are called demons. They jump in whenever they get a chance to trick you when you let a door be opened, such as your request. They will lie to you and tell you things that aren't true. They don't care about you. The idea that you can cure yourself and control everything in your life is false and you can tell when things don't go the way you expect it or want it to go. There is a higher power, but it is not the universe. The universe itself does not have control over itself because it is not a being or has energy that moves in any way. The universe itself is dying, which is backed up by science. If it did have any control, it wouldn't let itself die. It has no emotions or thoughts. It's all physical and materialistic. The higher power would have to be something with thoughts, feelings, and understanding of the universe, because the universe would have to come from them (meaning they live outside of it), to be able to control it. That means, living outside, space, matter, and time. This also means they're not just spiritual, but much larger than the universe, and eternal, because these things that make up the universe don't apply to them. The only higher power can be someone who has these qualities.

And that would be the God of the Bible, Jesus. The Bible explains these things, with just the very first verse of the Bible, Genesis 1:1. And the rest of the Bible explains more about this higher power. This Higher Power that is omniscient, that created everything (the way the universe works), that knows all things (knows what is right and wrong and how everything affects each other), that wants a connection with His creation (us humans) that He made in His image, and loves us more than we can know. Unlike the demons that aren't as powerful as Him, that do nothing but want the worst for you, that have knowledge of only certain things from past and present, and want no meaningful connection but only want to use you. They are against God and are against you because God loves us. God can answer prayers, and I know this because He has answered mine. And He let me know it was Him, and no one else. He shows and gives peace and love like no other, more than a mother's love because He IS love. He loves you enough to have died for you. And this is important because we humans have gone against God by listening to these demons. Adam and Eve were the first humans and they listened to the devil, who told the exact thing that you heard, which was that they could be like God, which means knowing everything and being able to control things like if they had God's power. They ended up finding out real quick that they were lied to by this demon. They didn't gain this power that they were told they would get. All they got was their mind opened to evil things that went against God's plan for everything. So that was how sin entered the world, which is the reason there is so much evil, death, and destruction in this world, which is why the universe is dying.

We humans have messed up and are no longer holy and good like God and cannot be in His presence, because His holiness is like the sun, and our dirtiness cannot compare, we would die. So we can't go to heaven in paradise, because He is too great for us. He warned Adam and Eve and they did not listen, which made them reap the consequences. So don't be like Adam and Eve and ignore the warnings. The only way evil can be paid for is with consequences. And that is death, which shows how serious God is about sin. We have all sinned and deserve this consequence, but this is where the significance of Jesus' death comes in. God came down to earth and became human to save His creation from this consequence. He loves us so much that He became a sacrifice for our sins so that we don't have to. He was the only man to have ever walked this earth without sin, yet He died to take our punishment away from us so that we could live with Him forever in paradise, in a place far better than Pandora. A place with no more tears, pain, evil, death, and darkness, but with joy, peace, comfort, goodness, eternal life, and pure light. Heaven is a place we all want to be, and Jesus has given us this chance by sacrificing Himself. He didn't deserve to be tortured and killed, and knew it was going to happen, it was His plan all along, but He didn't back down because He believes we were worth dying for. He loved the whole world to die for every single one of us, even though we betrayed Him, which is true love, loving us even after everything we've done. He loves you and wants a relationship with you. Having a relationship with the Creator of this universe is the single greatest life-changing thing you could ever have.

He can guide and keep you safe, because He has the control, but gives us free will to choose Him or not, because He doesn't want to control us as if we were robots forced to do anything. That is why the gift of salvation and eternal life is only given to those who choose Him and love Him for what He has done for us, and it is a free gift, meaning you don't have to earn it because it would be impossible to earn. Anyone can obtain it, and all you have to do is repent (meaning to turn away from your old mindset of what is good and evil, and be sincerely sorry for what you've done), confess that Jesus is God, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. It's that easy. Again, all He wants is a relationship with you. He knows you, your heart, mind, and soul, and made all the intricate parts of you. He knows all the things that you've been through, understands you more than you understand yourself, and wants nothing but the best for you. He turned my life around when I was in a dark place, and reminded me that He loved me more than I believed and hasn't forgotten me. He called me His daughter and changed me and I will forever love Him for that. And I wish the same for you because I care for you, and Jesus calls us all to love everyone. He can speak to us in many different ways, such as directly, but He also uses other people to speak through them. That is why I am telling you all of this.

The theory is 2 billion years ago oxygen just became a permanent feature of the planet's atmosphere. 100 million years ago during the cretaceous period would seem more fitting, shortly after Pangaea (the supercontinent) started to break apart.

@Justine Zupin The movie is great. I'd say that what's wrong with the plot is that the "sky people" comes back and only seems to want revenge on Jake Sully. No longer seems to be interested in mining for the precious mineral they were after in the first movie. Can't think of another thing that would be wrong right now. Everything else that seems wrong at first is explained in the movie.

@@RemyArbec I think they not just want revenge to Jake, they have to kill Jake because Jake have the power to unite the Na'vi, and the sky people not just want the mineral from Pandora, they want the whole Pandora.

Yeah I kinda agree too, but I’ll say it’s better than the first movie in terms of writing. My rating for Avatar 2, I’ll be generous and give it a 8/10. Because literally the CGI in this movie is a big step up than the first. It’s phenomenal! It’s makes me think Pandora could be a real world.

Pandora was actually our Mother Earth before industrialisation and colonising India and Africa. 😢 Come to India and see people still worship trees, rivers, mountains, animals and Mother nature. The only difference between Indians and Pandora people is we accepted slavery but they didn't.
