Avatar is the most underrated band on the planet. Johannes is the best vocalist in metal, right now and the rest of the band can play any kind of music they want. I can't wait until they take over the world.
I really do hope they can take over the world. They deserve! And, regarding Johannes, IMO he's the best frontman human kind have seen since Freddie Mercury!!
I'm 57 and a metalhead since I was around 12-13 or so, and I just discovered them, too around 3 weeks ago. Just bought tix to the May 20th show in Atlanta. Can't fucking wait! Metal never dies, my young friend. It just gets BETTER with age! It's really gonna be insane when I'm 80! If I live that long....

I liked this band, and now i see those guys live and talk too them after their show, i really love this band, Johannes on stage and Johannes in the bandshop are 2 different personen you know, if you'll watch him on stage he performs like a Mad dog, there aint no 1 minute this guy stop running and interactief with the audience, and of the stage he is a verry gentle and Nice person who likes too know who the fans really are, really, really Nice guys of avatar! A friend introduced me to Avatar. Since that i can’t get enough of them. I’m doing what i usually don’t do, watching live videos, interviews with them. Your comment to Johannes doesn’t surprise me at all. I just love his presence on stage, the metamorphosis from private him to this great singer and actor. Hopefully I’m able watching them live in Vienna 2022
Just found this band, and at 51 years old, i feel a new direction coming, and it's funkin groove metal. Avatar is coming at me through a mainline, like a drug. I haven't had a band affect me like this, since i first heard White Zombie.

Man the metal bands that Europe keeps putting out i wish they were more big here in the United States They are freaking awesome it's so unfortunate that the US only cares about pop and rap u will never see another metal band win album of the year anymore at the Grammys it's really sad actually
@@charismao23 Ghost is a swedish metal band... and they didnt win because their music was good, but because of the controversy around their band. You know, the whole satan worshipper thing which is their image.
@@LocalDeepstateAgent Ghost's music is incredible and the song that won them their Grammy, Cirice, is their best song. It's absolutely amazing so they would have won, Satanic image or not. They are one of our very best bands and certainly the most successful Swedish band right now. I love them 💖
@@MissSylvia67 same only found them last year ,I'm a addict now any video and little bit of information I may have missed I crawl the internet for ,hoping to find any ghost new material, vid clips ,uploaded concerts ect they are amazing didnt think, I'd find a band again I'd mad into like I was when I was younger like ,faith no more ,Metallica, gnr, then I stumbled on ghost while searching RU-vid for any new bands I can get into, I didnt think I'd find another band that I'd love as much and play constantly again in today's era then avatar popped on my feed how are these not even bigger there insane, got to see these live they look so connected with the fans I love that like ghost are ,big time for both bands now ,if ghosts new album kicks ass that be on the next stratosphere:) and these guys should be headlining everywhere in every country, they so it seems in only a few weeks of finding them ,I may be wrong but it feels to me that there album stuff sounds amazing but some of there live tracks sound even better than there amazing album recordings, that's a sign if a great great band if they sound even better live than there albums,its all that extra energy and vibes of the crowd that they cant recreate on albums ,cant wait 2 see them in uk ,hurry over guys please thanks huuuge new fan :)
@@MissSylvia67 hell no lmao. Cirice is my favorite song by then but they don’t have many songs that are all that great. Not to mention I could name PLENTY of metal/rock songs that should’ve won over Cirice.
As a. Heavy Metal Lifer, this Band is.. just an Amazing discovery and the best thing to come around in past decade if not more.. seeing them live is even more awesome!
Johannes is the life of avatar! The bass and drummer guy provide so much entertainment. The other two are gods on guitar! I have been listening to this band since the beginning. They never displease!

Johannes Eckerstrom is the definition of perfect!!!! This does sound like they may have put the album track over it, but they legit sound like the albums live. I've seen them twice and Wednesday is gonna be number 3!
Saw these guys at Wembley in December. Wasnt expecting much but they absolutely blew me away! I dont think theres anyone else who can scream that well and still sing like a fucking god! Amazing! Expect to see me down the front at the Barfly ;-)
I listen to this song EVERY NIGHT before bed - i need my METAL fix and Johannes - his voice is ASTOUNDING - raises the hairs on my arms and neck every time - seeing AVATAR perform this live is at the TOP of my bucket list...yeh, so i'm old - near 70 - any idea of the music i've listened to and seen LIVE? went to woodstock on the back of my brothers 58' triumph - sure i was young but it started then and it will NEVER DIE. And Johannes has a RAW BEAUTY when he delivers this song - CAN'T GET ENUFF!!!
I heard this song, and Avatar in general, for the first time just a few months ago. For a few months now, AVATAR is all I've listened to and I wasn't even a "metal" guy but i guess I am now :) What an incredible band with a unique and special talent. If they don't go mainstream, it's only because they don't want to.

1st Time I Had EVER Heard ANYTHING AVATAR @ a Concert They Were an Opening Band...ALL I could think about after THIS Track Opened What I Had No Clue What I Was In For
This song is absolute masterpiece. Every instrument, perfect guitars, sound, strumming during that slow part, sound of bass guitar, absolutely great drums especialy that opening hihat during chorus. And of course incredible screaming, the chorus si so powerful with it. For me it will be hard to decide which song will be best for ending song. This or Queen of Blades. But I think this will be a little bit better because of that feeling which comes from gradating ending of song.
IF YOU WANT TO ROCK HARD AND HAVE SOME FUN(front man is funny as hell) THEN AVATAR IS WHO YOU GOT TO SEE IN CONCERT......I LUV IT WHEN A BAND TAKES CHANCES BUT THEY ARE SOLID AND WILL BE AROUND FOR A WHILE....
Why would they want a new vocalist? He is a great singer, and he is also great at screaming and yelling, as proven in this song and another great example being in Queen of Blades! Such a unique style he has, and I can only relate his scream to what M.Shadows used to sound like in the early days of a7x - fucking amazing! These guys a really good hope for the comeback of Swedish metal, and rock in general! Love you guys!
