pretend there's a name, not really, Snape unfairly took points from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, but Dumbledore only gave points to Gryffindor.
This is so cool, thank you so much for sharing! And i love this format so much! Its so simpe, yet it works! Its all about great content, right? and you do have that. Well done Merphy! Cant wait to follow you even more in here! xx J
Yoko318 I actually think the episode is fine. It seems very filler, but several are. Most of the filler episodes are emotional or comedic, leading to being some of the favorite episodes. For example, the recap episode with the fire bender show is pretty well liked. The great divide showed a message, and although the delivery of the episode wasn’t too emotional or comedic, it still provided a good message and showed more of Aang’s conflict resolution skills.
Iroh to Zhao: "Even in exile, my nephew is more honorable than you. Thanks again for the tea. It was delicious." Zuko: "Did you really mean that, uncle?" Iroh: " Of course! I told you, Ginseng tea is my favorite."
Daniel Greene I mean you gave yourself points for asking a question. I can’t criticize those because I’ve done the same thing and would repeat what you did.
I need a fantasy book starring these three in a mission to save the world. Tim doing all the work, Merphy doing her best and chaotic Daniel ruining all of their efforts.
but she was wrong it wasn't Zuko's father's plan, he spoke out against one of the generals and was therefore preparing to fight the general but found out he was fighting Ozai when he got to the Agni Kai, he refused to fight Ozai and that's why he was banished.
@@jessadam9784 it was his father's war meeting, so he disrespected his father by speaking out of turn. At least, that was the reason Iroh gave. Although that might have technically been the rule he broke, but I'm guessing the reason his punishment was enacted was that he undermined Ozai's authority ("You can't do this! It's not right!"). If you're going to give advice to a dictator, say it in a way that respects their authority. He might have gotten away with a warning if he said something more diplomatic like "it could be detrimental to the morale of our soldiers if they feel that their contribution to the war effort is underappreciated by their superiors."
Tim is omnipotent, omniscient, he's the Avatar. Murphy is very strong and has specific things she knows, she's Katara. Daniel is a powerless non-bender who's there for comedic relief and technicalities, he's Sokka.
Zuko didnt speak out to his father but an important fire nation general. And at the Agni Kai he refused to fight his father but he would have fought the fire nation general.
But because he was in the Firelord's meeting, it counted as insulting the Firelord, and that's why the agni kai is against him, so in a sense we was being disrespectful to his father (in their logic).
@Hans Hanzo It was Zuko that challenged the general to the Agni Kai, but his Father's twisted view of things made him want to fight it instead to teach his son a lesson.
You know, I have been watching these 3 channels independently for some time now, and seeing you three do this stuff together is literally the equivalent of watching iron man, thor, and captain america in the first avengers movie. It's so cool.
So I just wanna say that technically Tim was right on the fact that aang says his name first cause in the intro to the first episode katara doesn't say aangs name just the lore of the avatar and the wat she doesn't say aangs name untill episode 2 intro
Gotta come in with that Iroh trivia: his favorite tea is Ginseng in the first season and Jasmine in the second and third. But TECHNICALLY ginseng isn’t a tea leaf, so maybe jasmine is the better answer
@@misterkevinoh "Jasmine tea is tea scented with the aroma of jasmine blossoms. Typically, jasmine tea has green tea as the tea base; however, white tea and black tea are also used. The resulting flavour of jasmine tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. It is the most famous scented tea in China." -Wikipedia entry for jasmine tea
Just something i think you should know. If u rewatch the scene where iroh talks to Zuko about his grate grandfathers, in his prison cell, all the shots of that scene have the bars placed infront of Zuko while iroh is seen clearly. I love this
This was so much fun! I had to realize I was so into Avatar trivia I even knew almost every one of Daniel's questions (except the movie minutes). It was interesting how after the questions regarding the order they show the bending at the beggining of episodes and the Avatar-cycle you didn't comment on/realize it was the same!
I am also so proud of myself, because I got every question right, so yay me. Also, actually in the first episode has a different opening and Katara never says Aang's name.
Yeah, that was my first thought too especially because when he says it during the play the real Sokka starts laughing and goes "I told him to say that." But I went back and technically we just hear the punchline as the actor's reading off a notecard so I'm not sure that would count.
I was expecting more Iroh questions from such an Iroh fan. Like the reasons people call him the dragon of the west. Or mainly the fact that he can see spirits. That's huge.
This video was a big ego booster cuz I know most of the answers that TIM DIDNT EVEN KNOW!! This video was great (for The aforementioned reason) but also I love seeing people geek bout avatar! It’s the best
I would like to make a correction: When Daniel was supposed to get 2/3 of a point, he was in the negative, so instead of a final score of -9029 2/3 it should have been -9029 1/3 (since -1 + 2/3 = -1/3)
7:05 would have known this one if they watched Kora XD 26:02 i wonder if Daniel saw some preview footage of the next movie and that was the pronunciation of Toph's name in it XD
Not to be THAT guy but the first word being "It's" and the last word being "perfect" only works if you don't count the prologue. Ok, I was THAT guy. I will disqualify myself. Jokes on you I'm not playing. I love this so much by the way. So happy that Merphy's an Avatar fan now! :-)
6:07 - The “more correct” answer to “what order are the elements presented at the start of the show” is “the order of the avatar cycle, with the current avatar’s native bending last”. This answer also happens to be correct for Legend of Korra.
Tim was right the first to name Aang is Aang himself. In the first version of the introduction, Katara just says she believe the avatar will come back and save the world
@Daniel Greene, the first episode has a separate opening m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tNZ6O4oNgbI.html you were wrong about who said Aang first
Tim, who you be? "I am the slave to our supreme leader Mishka, guiding us slowly but safely to our world(building) domination.." - is what he *should* have said.
The first episode had a different intro with "a hundred years have passed and the fire nation is nearing victory in the war." ending with Katara saying "I still believe that somehow the avatar can save the world." So unless I missed something Aang was the first one to say his own name.
You guys make a delightful trio and, aw, you're all cat folk! (RIP Lord Mishka). I would totally listen to a podcast with you three. (Also, still disappointed in myself in thinking Iroh's favorite tea was jasmine...lol)
I thought "oof 45 min is quite long, let's see how far we get" - video is over - "What?? No way that were already 45 minutes! That felt like 5??" - When too much fun defies the rules of time -
Not rotten, infested. With cabbage slugs. (Or so the guard assumed. Obviously, they never showed the slugs, so the cabbage could just be rotten, or totally fine and the guard was abusing his power...
This is a hilarius idea getting you guys together with varying expertise. It was so funny watching even though i knew nothing about what you were talking about! So much fun thanks
I feel like my least favorite is actually the one when they free the earth benders from the ship, because I thought it was cringey, but I do know how hated the great divide is in general
The 2/3 points for Daniel added to the absolute value of the number of points rather than lowering it as it was negative is so ironic it made me smile :D And he was so happy too. I hope he gets to the positive numbers by the end of the video
Doing the trivia with them, not done yet, but HOW DID THEY NOT KNOW THE BANDS NAME, that scene is ICONIC...THE FLAMEY-OESSSSS😂being honest right here right now I WOULD HAVE CRUSHED TIM IN THIS TRIVIA
"Are you the spirit who brought this library into the physical world?" "Indeed. I am Wan Shi Tong, he who knows 10,000 things. And you are obviously humans, which by the way are no longer permitted in my study." Iconic
I love that the thumbnail of this video has each one of them representing a fantasy book cover cliche. Daniel: man with magic glowing eyes. Tim: man posing with broad sword. Murphy: female assassin with dagger.
