After a three year absence, AVCon returned to the Adelaide Convention Centre in 2023. For one whole weekend, Adelaide's premier anime and video game festival "celebrates the world of anime, gaming, cosplay, pop culture, art and more in one big community-based event for all ages".
I attended on Saturday (July 22nd) and made this short video to capture some of the best costumes on display, check out the merchandise/collectibles, speak to some of the artists selling their work and see the world's largest playable Game & Watch (in the "Retrospekt" old-school gaming area).
