My mother, who is now deceased, sang this at Carnegie Hall when she was 12. It was one of the only thing she remembered when she was in a nursing home with Alzheimers. I will always love it and her. Thank you Cormac.❤

This little boy is adorable...it takes me back in 1996 when I was a French assistant in Worcester. I loved to take my lunch at the cathedral in the tea room at the cloister and I could hear the young choristers singing. That was beautiful and peaceful like angel voices 💗

Beautiful, it's taken me back 55 years when as a choir boy and went on a pilgrimage to Walsingham with my church and with many other churches choirs there sang this in procession through the streets to the Shrine of our Lady, such fantastic memories.

I love this setting of the Ave Maria, and this is a fantastic rendition. Interesting that you sang it in F - I'm used to hearing it either in E flat (which is just about manageable) or G (which is unsingable, at least to ordinary mortals like me). I can't imagine what it must have been like to have the whole of Salisbury Cathedral to yourself...
