Thank you for doing a curly hair routine!! I love Be Curly, but always use a small amount of prep and still struggle with frizz. I will use your tip of using more!
Finally a Curly hair video! After using this line for over a decade, I'm glad I'm not the only one who breaks the 'rules' with Be Curly! PS: More videos / mentions geared toward men's hair and product usage please, thanks ;)
Great curly segment! i appreciate the technical detail. My son has crazy curls, my daughter calm waves and I am somewhere in between. Looking forward to Pt. 2.
Your #sassiness is so sassy😁. This Vedic helped a lot coz I bought this product for my mixed daughters and didn’t know exactly how to use it. But now I know🤩. Thanks to you✌🏽
I love the Be Curly curl enhancer, it's so good! What are your thoughts on the Be Curly shampoo/conditioner? I'm looking to fully switch over to Aveda products
Yes it will! the style prep is more light weight where the curl enhancer is much more rich, so if you need moisture from the curl enhancer, you may need to scrunch periodically to make sure your hair isn’t weighed down.
My hair changed from a little bit of wave to straight up curly when it grew back after chemo some years ago. I love the Be Curly line, tho knowing how r when to use the styling products is a bit confusing. There are a ton of videos on here about refreshing curly hair in between wash days. Wondering which Aveda products you’d recommend for that. Foam Reset?
Hi Deron, thank you for your excellent channel. I'm hoping to learn which Aveda products, (not just Be Curly) can be incorporated into a Wash & Go routine? (Or wash & diffuse). Thank you!!
Hey Ravel1299! I’d like to know more about your hair before I make personal recommendations, do you have an Instagram account or place I could see your hair? Feel free to dm me on Instagram I’d be happy to help 😊
My very thick hair (thick 2A-B) was limp and dry from well water. Be Curly Prep miraculously brought back the lovely waves--however I really need some volume and moisture but it needs to be weightless or I'm back to limp hair. Would the enhancer work for this or is it too heavy?
@@DeronEdward Wow that was quick! I'm dying here with well water. I was using the most drying shampoo--with well water soap does not wash out easily so I am using some god awful tresemme, and since Aveda discontinued the sap moss products which I loved, I started using the Aveda Color Conserve conditioner which I liked as it appears to be lightweight. I noticed they brought back the sap moss products, but I'm definitely open to ideas. I definitely need the volume--especially at the crown.
I’d definitely look at the new version of Sap Moss, lightweight like color conserve but much more moisturizing, you could also look at the Nutriplenish leave-in conditioner!
@@DeronEdward So happy they brought back the Sap Moss and will definitely make that change and then use the Be Curly Prep and go from there. It truly is a miracle product. Leave ins tend to make me shiver in my boots. My hair is so so thick--a tad coarse--and just a lot of it. What they thin out could be sewn into a wig--my stylist is always amazed. Really kind of you to share your knowledge.
My hair is fine, very frizzy, low density, 2c-3a. After 5 years of trying curly girl method (which helped me to discover that I have curls), but makes my hair feel very producty, and heavy I decide to try the be curly cream. I use it with confixor gel (after 5 years first time alcohol and Silicones). The second day my hair feels dry and is hard to the touch and frizzy. The third even worse. I used style prep (not much) one day, brilliant leave in other day, cherry leave in other day with not much success. Am I doing something wrong?
@@DeronEdward like you in your curly hair routine, but on wet hair, and brushed with denman brush for more definition. If I don't use gel I will be fluffy. And in Greece the flax and aloe gel is not available. By the way thank you very much for the immediate answer
@@DeronEdward I discovered you and your channel two days ago. I am the 805th subscriber 😊😊😊 Next wash day I will try to use more style prep. When I used less my hair was tangled and not smooth. Thats why I changed leave in
@@DeronEdward I’m currently trying out new shampoos and conditioners to see what is best for my hair I did use Shea moisture for awhile (currently using the strength & restore masque) but I would like to see what else could help as my hair is fairly frizzy at the roots and then as it reaches the bottom my curls seem to tighten
Hey!!! I started using aveda curl enhancer but it is making my hair more straight lol... I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I wash the hair I apply leave in conditioner then aveda then gel. It looked ok for about an hour and then it started loosing the curl. I thought maybe the leave in conditioner was weighting down so next time I washed I skipped the conditioner but it was actually worse. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. My hair texture is similar to yours: loose waves on top and more curls at the bottom. Any suggestions for me?? This cream was a bit pricey I don't want to just switch it for something else ☹️
Alfredo it’s difficult for me to give a precise recommendation without knowing more or seeing her hair, I’m not going to make a personal recommendation without feeling confident it will work, I won’t just go down the list of recommendations until something works.
