One of the reason why i love a7x more than other bands is m shadows voice. I listened to linkin park, metallica, bmth, bfmv, trivium etc but m. Shadows voice is more versatile and the best to hear for me.
A7X is my perfect mix where it's still musical without going full speed or death metal. Metal heads say they're too soft and pop fans say they're too hard but they're perfectly where I am.
You're in luck. You CAN see this live :) they did an amazing performance of it at the LBC! Check the video out, I actually prefer the live version to this studio version!
I VERY highly recommend Trivium as a Metalhead. If Avenged is too heavy however there's probably only a very select few of Trivium songs you'd like because they are generally a heavier band. Their drums are heavier and so are the guitars. In most songs they metal scream but there's a few like: This world can't tear us apart, The Heart From Your Hate, Endless Night (Do not quote me on this because I can't remember), and most, if not all silence in the snow songs (which I would not really recommend). If you're willing to try something heavier I would also very highly recommend The Sin And The Sentence (song, this is also the name of the album). Metal singers generally have good voices and they sing about history/real life issues most of the time so a lot of metal lyrics are very deep. Also pro gamer move. If you think M. Shadows (lead singer of avenged) has a good voice. I URGE you to listen to wasting love by iron maiden.
If you don't think rock and metal have good vocalists then you haven't listened to barely any rock and metal. It has some of the best singers in the world, much better than the majority of singers in the charts these days 🤘
Thank GOD someone finally did a reaction video that wasn't to the music video of this song. That version sucks, and you don't get the full song as it was intended to be heard.
You know why you guys stopped reacting? 'Cause you guys moved forward(based off of suggestions from people that didn't realize what was great until a lot of time has passed) instead of backwards. This is one of the greatest bands ever, but their self-titled, which this song was from, and their previous album, City of Evil, are literally the two best back to back albums from any artist ever. It's sad that when I type in their name in your search bar, I only see songs that were released after this... their drummer of this song died, so their newer stuff, like the stage and all that crap are much, much different. Don't fix what isn't broken... if you like this song, listen to this album! It's their last album that featured this drummer.
You should react to anything from their live in the lbc concert, it’s a masterpiece of a show. Anyway nice reaction, band has a lot of great music , especially anything off of city of evil which is glorious.
