The whole band shows incredible talent, but what Brooks and Syn have going on just complimenting each other almost like a sacred dance. It's really incredible.
I was waiting for this moment, Angels just hits different, the build up to the ending of the song is amazing and that solo give chills, fun fact, Syn Gates did the first solo and Papa Gates finish it in the coolest way possible, Shout out to PAPA GATES!!

Yeah I came to comment the same thing. It's not commonly advertised that this isn't Synyster Gates but his dad playing the outro solo. He has contributed to a good couple of their songs in some ways over the years.

Though you very much can tell by The Licks and Motif’s that Papa Gate’s had Taught Syn. But Comparing the papa Gates solo to Syn’s, you can hear the Difference in the performance and how papa gate’s solo is more Bluesy and Classical Sounding than Syn’s

I thought it was more about Matt this song personally, but maybe that's because I've loved this slow song since it's release so I'm biased on the vocals also cus I simp for daddy shadows, though Brooks did kill it. Loved the reaction my man edit: more specifically the vocal melodies in this track* It's really catchy to my ears
