This was the last song I heard driving in the car with my mom.. two days before she died. She loved it! She turned the volume to max and jammed out.. I was totally surprised but didn't argue :)
omg im so sorry :(( my mom also used to love this song and their others so i basically grew up with their songs lol, she died when i was ten though, so i still listen to the songs :)
@@lightman9935 Its because Syn is basically doing that same guitar solo thingy through out the whole song except the chorus's, and the actual guitar solo
I've loved avenged for at least last 17 years. Husband introduced me to their music ❤️ I was in the car with my 9 year old taking her to karate and I put this on, she said oooo I love this intro and loved the rest of it too! My little rock chick ❤️💕
Creepyfck - Why you delete your comment, more like wimpyfck! Go read the lyrics for yourself, what kind of sense does “it’s too late to adore make, in the context of the thought being expressed by the song writer? it doesn’t!
@@meanhe8702 mate you need to calm down it's not that big of a deal and plus this video was made 8 years ago there's no use in trying to correct them now
Lemme tell you, nothing is more satisfying than being a girl in highschool and seeing people's shocked expression when they ask you what you're listening to and you unplug your headphones for this to blast from your Spotify playlist
I didn't have Spotify in high school but I loved blasting my rock & death metal etc as loud as possible from my car lolll but now a days its even rarer to hear anything from the radio shit
Service how strange two years later and iv just had the exact feeling man what a bummer ohh yeah it’s big system time my..... my neighbour is really not gonna like me this afternoon hahaha if I can’t have my mind blown...someone is ✌️💚🤘
Heard this song playing at my work on the radio and had never heard it ever. The riffs were so good I made it a point to try to make out lyrics to look it up later. "Hail to the king." Perfect. And here I am. SO NOT DISAPPOINTED. *HEAD BANGS ETERNALLY* HAIL TO THE KIIIIIING!!!!
This should have been played in the movie 300. I no the fit isn't quite right but when it says arrows blacken out the sun I think of that scene from 300.
This song reminds me of the King of Persia from 300. Especially the part where it goes "Arrows black out the lights" because there's a scene in 300 where the Persian archers fire their arrows and their arrows completely blot out the sun.
well i mean history wise the 300 movies are trash, for example the Persians were one of the first to give equal rights to women etc where the greeks etc haven't at that point
mr222gaz Rather anachronistic to judge cultures of two or three millenia ago on how well they conform to contemporary mores, particularly mores that receive little more than lip service in much of the world even today. And while the movie 300 is obviously intended as fantasy, not a documentary, the exchange about arrows blotting out the sun and therefore fighting in the shade IS historical, as are a couple of other lines incorporated into the film. Read Herodotus...
Robert Findley He Just made a example really of oneof the reasons why some one who is obsessed with greek/Persian history(not mythology, history)would hate it. Though i have never seen them i cant judge the movies, so i figured i would say that and also ask, What in the Daylights is "anachronistic?"
That extended guitar solo by Syn near the song's end was the most epic thing I’ve ever heard. I never liked heavy metal music until I listened to that fire solo! I thank them for making this masterpiece. It's the song that introduced me to them. Also, you got some of the lyrics wrong, particularly 'adorn,' instead of 'atone,' 'rotting,' instead of 'riding,' and 'let the water throw it's shades of red now,' instead of 'let the water flow with shades of red now.' The first error is glaring because it's in the thumbnail.
The football team at my school played this for our homecoming king which by the way was on the team. Couldn't help but laugh after the game in the locker room bc we all bow down to him.
@@DeepSpaceNinja As I said earlier many times, I posted this video the day the song came on and there were still no official lyrics out :) I tried my best
@@DeepSpaceNinja bruh how tf u finna be mad when they literally couldn't check their lyrics? If the song was brand new you had to wait a couple months until lyrics popped up on the internet. Dont be a grammer nasi and just listen
I hear this song on a flight to London. I was just taken by this, just like perfect. Love everything about it. Why no likes, why not popular? No more albums. Great band! Maybe if Lemmy did this in a cover it would have got more attention?
Some of your lyrics are wrong. It's not rotting in the street with armor. It's riding into the street with armor. And the other one is let the waters flow with shades of red now not throw just thought I'd let you know.
doomsday437 Lol! I got my friend stuck on this song and she said "HAIL TO THE WWWOOOOORRRRRLLLDDD!" And she is usually so calm but I had to correct her. I said "Good job for connecting to your inner rock and roll though."
+Jason Dent the game is definitaly not worth getting if you dont want to buy dlcs or exports. the songs are pretty bad except for some of them e.x hail to the king. but if you dont want to buy dlcs or exports get rock band 3 but thats my opinion.
Neither it was Roman, to be precise. When you think more about it, it wasn't quite an empire precisely. Just because it had an emperor... ...who was a puppet. True Roman empire divided in 395 AD. As Constantinople was the capital at the time, Roman empire didn't fall in 476 AD, just the western part. Roman Empire continued to exist until its final fall in 1453 by Ottoman Turks... and it primarily was destroyed in crusades, so the Turks could have easily obtained it in next 2 centuries (it's been attacked multiple times when Roman Empire was on the bottom of its size). Later, historians named Eastern Roman Empire Byzantium, because there was a town named Byzant on whose ruins, Constantine the Great build his capital, just not to be confused with so called Holy Roman Empire. Not Holy, not Roman, not a true empire.
If I could be honest, I think symphonic rock, more heroic, fits him better. While Avenged Sevenfold sounds pretty nice, I think such a, to attack it some adjectives, "furious, throaty" theme wouldn't fit him just right.
I get goosebumps like crazy when this song comes on I absolutely love it it’s in my top favorite songs now along side Joy to the world by Three Dog Night. It’s a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong and a bunch of others.
I want to get a wireless surround sound system and somehow I stall it in the production area at my job and blast this song avoiding all cameras🤣 There's not a whole lot of people at my job that likes rock music.
Sure, if you like real oldschool metal, this is it. I'm not sure what you're into my friend, but in my opinion this is the real McCoy, done in the classic Sabbath, Maiden, et al style. REAL heavy metal. Not thrash metal, not death metal, not speed metal, or any of those "other" metal musical compositions. Pure, heavy metal. Nothing more, nothing less.
I just got finished reading Macbeth and watching a live action play of it and i think this song goes exceptionally well with Macbeth. This comment made my day. Thank u
Lilly Rodi The Entire song explains the Civil war in skyrim shown by this" watch ur tongue or have it cut from ur head" (questioning the Authority of the Empire) Children Room the streets now Orphans of War (Veterans of the Great War) Bodies hanging in the streets to adore (Thalmor Persecution of Talos Worshippers) Royal Flames will Carve a Path in Chaos(Rise of the Stormcloak Rebels) Hail to the king (Ulfric Stormcloak)
Always loved avenged sevenfold. Great melodies but I can't deny I liked them soon much more when they were more death metal . Waking the fallen will always be their best work. In my opinion.
I searched for a song with "King" in it because I wanted to find a song that's about a ruler. I typed in "King" and found this. This is really awesome!!!
The first verse is "Death is riding into town armor" The second verse is "Death is rotting in the town with armor" The verses are different but the video says rotting in both parts.
Grammar is your instead of you're. Or commas missing. "death rotting into town" when it is "death is riding into town with armor" is wrong lyrics. But I believe English is this man's second language, and he was quessing, so I forgive him. When the song is 4 years old, and you can Google the lyrics, I bothers me.
This song should be in Metal Gear Solid V. I think it suits Snake's presumed personality, as in him becoming a villain and gaining power. That'd be so tight.
such amazing work every time i think of my dad who isnt alive anymore i always remember to listen to this song because he loved this song so much and he always made sure he thought that he was king
hey man, great video! all I have to say is that i believe it's "let the water flow with shades of red now", not throw with shades of red. other than that, spot on lyric video :)
2:08 the word is: "Atone" by the way because that means one's wring doings or sins cleaned and from the context of that centence "born again" also means like renewed and cleansed, incase u didnt know and apperently you did not. loll adorn which means decorate like jewellery Roarr!
