Finally, a performance where the sound engineer was not incompetent! They always make M Shadows sound awful, when really he just needs more volume so you can actually hear him!
I love how Johnny's tone isn't insane in terms of gain, but its awesome because you can actually hear it in the mix. It just makes everything sound so much better. I hate when bands bury their bass player to the point no one can hear them. Great set. Great sound. Great tones
@@iZipTiedMyPenisToABrick nope, its not Arins fault that HTTK had kinda simple drums. The whole band wanted it to be like that. And Carry On and Not Ready To Die were also with Arin and these two Songs are pretty good imo.
@@iZipTiedMyPenisToABrick Moron. The band asked him to play like that. He came in with Metalcore fills and grooves during preproduction and they told him to scrap it
@@iZipTiedMyPenisToABrickagree. i guess he was too young for this band and lack of experience on writing. but playing wise he still good and he had the energy. but i still enjoy hail to the king album. and can play for 1 hour show, thats a lot of stamina man. btw jimmy, brooks, arin is a great drummer👍🏻
As much as I miss The Rev I cannot stand how people hate Arin. Yes, Hail to the King was more of a simple album with simple drumming, but the band wanted that sound. You can listen to interviews, they say so themselves. IMO he did an excellent job in playing the older songs and I don't think he would've gotten the job if he hadn't been able to play them. Look at this concert for example. Do you really think he can't play them? Edit: I am a moron and called the album Shepherd of Fire at first lol
I agree, Arin really didn't have a chance to show his chops and what he could bring to the band. It's not fair for people to *hate* him, per se. But, I think it was the right decision for the band, and the fans, to let him go. Brooks Wackerman is just insanely good, brought something to the band they've never had before, and just overall seems like the best fit for the band.
Arin played perfectly for the style of the album and fittet the songs, it's not my favorite but the sales speak for the songs in that they are really popular and simpler but not worse or anything
Helped me get through some of my darkest moments of depression too. I remember driving through all hours of the night and listening to the Nightmare album on repeat. Especially "Save Me", "Tonight the World Dies", and "Fiction".

Earlyman me too man😔 I was 4 when he died so at that point I didn’t know what I liked or anything it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started liking my own things
He actually had to cancel a show we were going to go to (and a few others) to get (if I remember correctly) throat surgery because of what he was doing to his vocal cords. I think this was back in 2018 if I remember correctly.

I don't understand why Arin gets so much hate. The simplicity of HttK wasn't his fault. He had no say or creative freedom. I'm willing to bet that a lot of the naysayers don't know that he wrote and tracked both Not ready to die and Carry on for the Call of duty black ops games. He's a wicked drummer.
They are my favourite band in the world. I wish i could see them in live, honestly in my opinion there live in LBC 2008. I can't stop watching the lbc live concert. I wish they would concert in my home town,i will surely go no matter how the problem i will face. If i would spend all my salary to buy the tickets,i will surely buy it. Love you A7X🤘🤘 RIP The Rev😔
"I'll try, " she said as he walked away "Try not to lose you" Two vibrant hearts could change Nothing tears the being more than deception, unmasked fear "I'll be here waiting tested and secure" Nothing hurts my world, Just affects the ones around me When sin's deep in my blood, You'll be the one to fall "I wish I could be the one, The one who won't care at all But being the one on the stand, I know the way to go, no one's guiding me When time soaked with blood turns its back, I know it's hard to fall Confided in me was your heart I know it's hurting you, but it's killing me" Nothing will last in this life, Our time is spent constructing, Now you're perfecting a world, meant to sin Constrict your hands around me, Squeeze till I cannot breathe, This air tastes dead inside me, Contribute to our own plague Break all your promises, Tear down this steadfast wall, Restraints are useless here, Tasting salvation's near Nothing hurts my world, Just affects the ones around me When sin's deep in my blood, You'll be the one to fall "I wish I could be the one, The one who won't care at all But being the one on the stand, I know the way to go, no one's guiding me When time soaked with blood turns its back, I know it's hard to fall Confided in me was your heart I know it's hurting you, but it's killing me"
Super live👍.
Totally sucks it's 2021. Those are the times!!! This is one of the better sounding ones totally freaking amazing! The heart's heavy is time goes on but with this music it helps you move along!
This was the year I saw them! Down in Chattanooga, TN. It's still my number 1 show I've ever seen, tied with Children of Bodom in 2013 (RIP Alexi). Hit so much harder in a venue than a festival, but I really think this was one of the best eras of Sevenfold!
This is good and solid but I saw them on the waken the fallen tour when he used to sing all his lines haha, yeah he doubled and tripled etc. His vocals for the harmonies with a track but he sung the high parts and screams himself. I realize this way they can play longer and night after night and he is older now. Still a7f is an amazing band 😎🤘🔥♥️👏
I’ve been searching this video for about 1 years, Finally i found it😆 hail to the king Andre! Hellfest is a fucking beast!!!! This means war is the best song ever damn son!!!
I know it's "cool to hate" on Arin's drumming for some reason, but I'll be damned if he doesn't have the best sounding kit out of all of A7X's drummers, even including Jimmy. Arin just has an *amazing* ear for good drum tone.
