@@oliverhommel5522 basically at the end of the movie and as well as the beginning of the movie, the truman show. jim carey’s character, truman, always says these lines after people say good morning to him, in case if i don’t see you again, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight. one of the most iconic ending sciences in history
@@JavierPwns He wrote the drum work, just because it doesn't say it doesn't mean he didn't do it. It was likely a mistake. Plus he has the writing credits on apple music so.....
I would also argue the opposite to be honest. Some of these tracks feel like Avenged were trying to go back to that "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet" feeling albeit with a "fresh" perspective. They've always built upon their previous work and the way they give us something new, yet familiar, is one of the things I love the most about this band.
This whole album is fire. I just think there is a few more better ones than this, when I say few I say this song is in the top 3 in this album, other 2 I think are better are easier and life is but a dream. Honestly the 3 highlight songs of this album but don’t get me wrong this whole album should be put in a museum
I heard negative stuff about this, I dont understand it, I was expecting some awful audio or something but this is just avenged sevenfold. They sound exactly how i expected them to. If you dont dig it you probably dont like these guys in general
Because the majority like familiarity and lack an imagination. They have preconceived notions. They don't want Art, they want product. Lack of appreciation
No I like every single one of their albums except this. I've always listened to avenged sevenfold my whole life and I was really hyped about this album, but to be honest I'm disappointed in this
I can’t even begin to understand much less explain how this album made me feel. Parts of it made me relive past experiences, and parts showed me glimpses of the future. We love you A7X ❤❤
You guys have proved me right. I knew you'd be this amazing. I've already enjoyed the wild ride for almost 20 years. I'm sure Jimmy is happy too. Thank you for everything.
5:17 Its 12:08 A.M. east coast...my god what did this song just do to me...A7X just pushed the boundaries of their genre here like no one else....this is incredible 😎

This album is beautiful. This song, along with G, Easier, Cosmic, and Game Over, are all freaking amazing!!! EVERY song in this album is pure art. Massive MASSIVE props to Avenged Sevenfold!!
References to Truman's Show "in case i don't see you again good afternoon, good evening and good night", and philosophy in the line "smart enough to know nothing at all" (Socrates), made it my favorite song of A7x. I consider it a master piece that had the braveness to do something different adding unpredictable things, and putting weird effects in certain moments, without sounding "hard to hear", the expressiveness of the vocals it's like a theatre performance, using reverb to sound So far away from us (in certain moments), lyrics are just perfect referring a daily metaphor, and finally singing nor playing this song isn't close to be Almost easy 😉. A wonderful song that really describes the life in the eyes of monotony, and how people are just slaves of the desires that came out of nowhere, filling our internal abyss with "normality", and refusing to accept that we lost humanity trying to be humans, sometimes feeling like we're being Buried alive in this catastrophe that we call "Society".
I’m obsessed with the entire song, but particularly the 3rd “plastic daisies” part 4:23 with full instrument backing 4:37 followed by the 4th iteration of that progression with no lyrics and the choral accompaniment. It has a quality that I can’t put into words. Like the progression doesn’t seem to follow progression trends of today, but just has a disco-era lineage. Just in chord progression, not in feel. A7X does more than enough to bring that progression into their world. If sped up slightly it almost sounds like something ELO could have written.
Just a random observation. Mattel has a lyric: “toy yellow bird upon the rooftop sings…” And when looking at the Aqua music video for “Barbie girl”, the first clip is a toy yellow bird chirping… Cute coincidence I think💕 (Mattel the brand is also responsible for making Barbie and the imagery within A7X “Mattel” has a lot of plastic, still life imagery which made me think of the plastic Barbie doll)
As someone who has been on anti-consumerism and finds myself almost always overstimulated by the constant advertising and marketing of the world, this song makes me feel so heard. This is an amazing social critique with great wordplay
Disagree, only bad thing about this album is production...its different from your regular metal production sure but the drums sound so fake..the shell also sounds muddy
I feel like I’ve waited soooo long for this album. This is the 3rd song I’m hearing and I am not disappointed in the slightest. Everything y’all do is masterful. Best rock band ever
Although I’m a bigger fan of Avenged Sevenfold’s older works, I can admit that this may be one of the most brilliant songs they ever released in their entire career. This song makes me feel a way I can’t describe, especially the 0:40 second mark. I hope there’s more songs out there that sound like this one.
2:52 3:31 The drumming in this bridge was actually written by The Rev they just couldn't find a place to put it. 14 years after his death they found a way to include him on their newest album.
Where is this information coming from? Not attacking you, just curious to verify the accuracy of this because it would be awesome to know if this is true
Gotta admit, as a LONG time fan, i heard the first 2 singles and thought What the fuck?? But after many listens, and the whole album available to listen, I am beyond impressed!! Thank you guys!!
unfortunately i’ve seen many, but they’re just some dumbass 9 year olds getting mad the new album’s not a new “nightmare” avenged sevenfold works with what they have and do what they want. they don’t care if they lose fans, massive respect.
This song just grabs a hold of you and does not let go, until it completely rips your soul from your body. It is definitely one of my favorites. The vibrations just shock you inside. It's incredible.
Haha, on ya boys. The mind expansion is evident. It’s brilliant for creativity and music isn’t it? I haven’t listened to much of the more recent material until tonight, but fantastic, outstanding, absolutely love it. I’ve had the most recent albums on and it’s been a very nice experience listening to the progression and yet, fundamental sound that make you guys a band.
2:52 - 4:21 is some of the best and most unpredictable musical genius I've heard in a long time. This is A7X's best creative work since Remenissions off W.T.F.
I always love how A7X perfectly combines melodic with hard-core headbanging, especially since reminds me of my favorite more metal grunge era bands that I have known, love, & been rocking out to since the late 80's, & can sadly no longer ever see live. Matty sounds better than ever & I'm super excited for upcoming tour in Camden (July 18th baby) & listen to Life Is but a Dream in it's entirety🤘. And you all better be headbanging & keep your damn phones off & out of sight. You dont go to a fucking concert, especially metal, looking through a damn 7inch screen, you go to experience the magic & fucking rock your face off.
if you think their music are weird, you had a cheap taste of music, because A7X is one of genius musicians! imagine if A7X came from 90's band, did you still hating their song? i think if they're came from 90's, their music will be equal with Metallica, GNR, Dream Teather. and i believe you will never think A7X song are weird, and you will never hating their music because they're 90's band. their music is anti mainstream and unique. everything is about perspective, and half of people will stuck in cheap taste of music and love to listening mainstream music
@@HighTierGaming123no it's not. Avenged sevenfold continues to evolve. And not just evolve but do it successfully. How many bands were great, changed their sound and just lost it? Avenged sevenfold is enduring
Everyone keeps comparing this to SOAD but I hear more Faith No More in the new album. The piano, sporadicness, even his vocal melodies sound like Mike Patton. This album is definitely better than I expected.
Yeah I told my co worker that they were channeling their inner Faith No More all the way back when they released Nobody. I’m here for it!! I love when bands take risks like this! Can’t wait to see them in October
The outro to this song is just soo fucking good. One of those songs I listen to all the way through just to hear that beautiful piano solo with that "dirt-in-a-good-way" drum beat over it. The rest of the song is great too of course
I’ve heard this album a couple of times and I’m ngl I think this is the best song they’ve dropped in a while . It’s just so creative but metal at the same time like avenged sevenfold is supposed to be .
I agree and I absolutely love all their music, but this song just has soooo much feel, so heavy, so beautiful, so REAL. It makes you think, it makes you feel, It's amazingly surreal 🔥

This song is pure gold, I've been listening to you guys since I'm 7 years old , I enjoy every gender of music, last summer I enjoyed "un verano sin ti " from bad bunny and this year Summer sounds like a death bat knocking my window, let's gooooo foREVer
ive been listening since around 2016 and this is now in my top10 A7X songs, which i love almost every single one so thats good, but the drop at 2:50 is in my top 3 fav drops
This song makes me feel... things. Idk if it's good or bad but this song really is incredibly written and performed. I heard it for the first time this morning and I'm absolutely obsessed.
Okay what the actual fuck. I had never listened to Avenged Sevenfold before because I thought their name sounded like they would be a cheesy mainstream metal band. And now, now I hear their music. And I cannot believe I have missed out on this genius work all my life
@@rand0mguyontheinternet bitch please we waited 13 years. And the album would have been out just a little sooner if Matt didn't get a vocal blister. He was on no speaking for 6 months....with a threat of well. Blowing his vocals permanently......I can wait
Fun fact: M.Shawdows and Gates took lot of inspiration from Albert Camus's novel the stranger. They also stated that a DMT trip influenced the style/theme of the whole album.
