I discovered King Nothing just today and imagined it mashed up with HttK, just because of the title… and I find someone who did exactly that. XD It works way better than it has any right to. Holy crap.
Very nice. Seamless combination, if you catch my drift. Although I think you missed an opportunity for an exchange between the vocalists about Hail to the King vs. King Nothing. Either way, good stuff.
Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica are playing at the same show in August, back to back. And I'm going to be there! If they play this, I will most likely die of happiness, and it will be amazing.
+Dark Centurion Oh yeah, I know that they would never actually play this, I was just saying how awesome it would be if they did, even though I know they won't. I actually don't know what I was thinking when I posted that comment lol
this sounded good until i downloaded it and played it on my headphones. It allows you to hear how it is just both tracks slapped on top of each other and sounds like ass
really smart and well thought out. Every A7X fan should be bowing down to this mashup between our long time metal heroes Metallica and the killer arpeggios of Zacky V.
soundcloud.com/soda-nickpeacock/soda-hot-opra You can find it in there. Soundcloud would tag it copyrighted otherwise. youtube-mp3.org is also your friend.
When an interviewer said to Gates you often get criticism or praise however you want too look at it for taking inspiration from Metallica gates replied "well if your going to pick from a well"
Instrumentals from Hail to the King by A7X and vocals from King Nothing by Metallica.... I'm surprised it fit as well as it did, it was synchronised so well. Now we need the opposite -- instrumentals from King Nothing and vocals for Hail to the King, that should fit just as well and be just as well-received as this!
Sounds like something Metallica would do, like if you think Metallica will do metalcore in the future and comment "🐀💎" if you'd like them to do it on at least one track.
whats ironic is avenged sevenfold went through a law suit due to king nothing and hail to the king because they released hail to the king about the same time metalica did
What do you even mean? You mean the 1 minute instrumental intro? Because it's edited with only two tracks. The avenged sevenfold instrumental, and the metallica vocals. The instrumental wasn't edited at all, up until James sings "All the wants you waste." So if that beginning, before James's vocals appear, is what you're talking about that's a half-beat off, then you overestimate Avenged Sevenfold's actual skill.
Welcome to the world of digital audio editing. Where if you're only marginally good at guitar, your producer will "dragon"force you to sound like a god.
