I really dont like that Shadows has the crowd singing all of the chorus for the classic songs. Make me believe he can hit the notes. Doing a line here or there is fine but hes literally not even singing the best parts
Yeah man. Even during the bridge "and I know you hear their voices..." he didn't even try and go for the higher octaves there. But with songs like Nobody (with some voice cracks) and We Love You, it sounds like he can do it. Maybe age is really catching up with him and his endurance runs out a lot faster
Because he's actually taking care of his voice now and wants to preserve it for as long as possible so they don't have to cancel tours due to his vocal issues. He was also singing in the tenor range for most of these songs too, which he stopped doing both live and in studio a long time ago to help his voice last longer, so he can do it but chooses not to for those reasons.
Yeah like Butterpants1987 said, you guys are overthinking it, he’s just having fun with the crowd. Also it’s not like doesn’t sing the chorus at all, he still sings a few lines in it, if not the whole chorus. And also also I don’t think he’s sung the high part in the bridge since 2012 or so
Know what you mean dude, ive got a few bands like that. Nothing 'wrong' with them, just went so hard that I cant bring myself to listen anymore. BFMV comes to mind, i still love them but christ I cant bear to listen to any of their songs haha
City of evil was great also but then they abandoned that sound also for the self titled record.... meh. I like it but it was a step down for sure IMO. I own the first 4 records on cd & vinyl. Huge fan of the old A7X. Miss it always
