my dad passed away last month, he was a fan of metal and knew i was a huge metalhead, wed play metal music, relax, play games and just talk about how life is and his time as a soldier. i really miss him, he showed me a lot of good songs like this. this song reminds me of those precious moments, im gonna learn this song, and im gonna play it for him

My brother and I shared everything since I remember existing. Music was one of those thing. School, clothes, girls, messing with all of our friends. When I wacthed this I cried a lot. I lost him when I was 27 in a car accident. Kind of a movie passed in front my eyes. What hurt me until today is that I lost an opportunity to tell him that I love him so much. Great song.

Milma Palheiros First off I would like to say RIP to your brother. I too lost my brother (17) to a crash crash back in 06’. It was the hardest thing I’ve been through. Music has alway helped me through it. Even 14 years later, I too would just want one more hug, one more I love you. Sending my strength to you that your not alone!!!

I listen to this song and I think of my best friend who died in my arms in Afghanistan. My mom who died of cancer, my cousin who died of an overdose. I can't help but think my own struggles with addiction and I could have not been here if it wasn't for my dad who saved my life.

i hope this reaches the right people. on march 28th 2016 my 20 year old brother took his own life. avenged sevenfold was his band he loved them and listened everyday this song and hail to the king where the first on his play list and on april 5th 2016 we will be playing this song at his funeral. This song is the most AMAZINGLY DEEP song ever on so many different levels! I feel it's also one of the most powerful and loving devoted songs out there no way it can be topped. This song makes this band truly show themselves and bares their hearts and souls to the world while helping us all be able to feel everything it stainds for on top of how wonderful they are as a group as human beings that lost someone they truly loved. Words can't express the depth and meaning this song has in my heart. Love your band you guys rock out with your heart's out and I thank you from the bottom of mine for that.

My buddy passed back in 09. He was our drummer, friends since where 5 and were big Avenged fans. Ironic how we both lost our drummers before the age of 30 in and in the same year.

I lost one of my best friends from 14 years 8 months ago. I've been a fan since 2013, the Rev had already passed and even though I felt sad for them I didn't know how it felt. I never thought I could relate to this, and now I wish I didn't. Can't barely listen to this song anymore.
