I hadn't really practiced guitar or tried to learn any new songs for quite some time. On a whim I decided to look through my old subscriptions on youtube amd found your channel again! And since I have been picking up a whole bunch of new songs to play and have been loving every second of it! I have no idea why I ever stopped playing! Thank you so much dude! You're awesome!
Still hoping to see a video on how to make our amps sound like songs we hear by the bands. I know its hard to replicate exactly, but tell us how you get so close! I suggested this a while back
MIKE GROSS ROCKINGUITARLESSONS1 yeah I always do an end of school performance. I'll post the video. Thanks for posting these videos because they are awesome.
Nobody has this song tutorial because it is a soundtrack from the video game Wreckfest, but if you could I would LOVE to have a tutorial on how to play Buried Alive by One Desire. I love your vids and think you could make it easy for me to learn
Thanks for yet another awesome tutorial man. Can you give a lesson on how to play Kein Lust by Rammstein every one I see giving a tutorial on it plays it differently so please try and figure out the closest way to how they play it thanks again
Man can you do the solo that would be awesome , because you break it down really good. all the other videos are too fast .. I am a rhythm player so when I see someone going crazy it just makes me not even try lol but if it was broke down into a bunch of different parts that's different I can learn that
Sounds amazing. I have a mesa head like that. Can I ask what settings you're using and if any pedals? I'm having a hard time getting my amp to sound good. Thanks
I got a boss katana amp and having really hard time having the same effects and the tightness you have on this cover, let me give it to ya, you killed it tbh. How can I acquire this tone? I have done some digging on the internet but no luck finding anything useful really.
@@rockingguitarlessons 😅😁😂 hahaha I believe you had played before, but not here in YT tho, I've been looking for a good tutorial for this one, but nothing yet
Mike ive tried so hard to do this but i cant make it sound like its going fast you know? Like there is a short pause on between the hammer pull so it doesnt sound like how you're doing it. Any tips?
Great job but the intro for lead is 11b 10e 11b and rhythm/melody is 8 6 8 in the same pattern but in the same way you played it. Otherwise great job this video has helped me even though I have the tab book. ☺
Yo Bro, Awesome stuff as always. You got some sort of special paint on that Jackson or is it just the way the light hits it that makes it look like it changes?
5:05 . after I play 2x 8a, then 6a, then hammer pull 8a, do I play 8a then 6a or just 6a? Im new at guitar but I got this first part down. Just can't figure this out. Both sound right
Hey Mike! How to you get that sound at 4:25 when you bend down? It's not allowing me to tag you so if anyone else could answer my question that would be great. Thanks!
Thanks for the quick reply. I have only been playing for about a month and don't know most of the terminology. Your videos are really helping me get started!
i just looked and it doesn't seem to be there. But if you ever have the time, do you think I could put in a request for it? I'm really digging the way you teach, everybody else makes everything so complex and hard to follow. I'm self-taught, per se, I mean I took guitar class the last two years of high school, so that helps. Anyway, if you ever get the chance, see if you could do a spot on it and put it up as a vid? Please?
Sara Harris How light gauge are your strings I usually play 10-52 or 11-48 for standard drop d and drop c so that might give you a better idea of good strings to look into but maybe not some people prefer light strings to heavy strings this is just my preference just like some people prefer thin picks and meanwhile I'm using dunlop 2.0mm
Hey man, still loving your videos! Think you could do a lesson on the whole song for "End The Rapture" by Avenged Sevenfold? The song's not that long and I need serious help for an inexperienced pinch harmonic and tapping player. Thanks dude
Timothy Bernard Every string is in standard tuning (EADGBE) but you tune the low E string down to a D. The easiest way to do this is to hold your finger down on the 7th fret of the low E string, and tune it to an A. So your low E and A strings should sound the same when you're holding your finger down on the 7th fret on the low E.
Dannobopper Dunn You're exactly right, and if more people read like we do and actually knew what they were talking about people like u and I wouldn't have to keep explaining it to people who think they cracked open a huge scandal. LMAO... Look how many albums Ax7 came out with before this one, that alone should be enough evidence that they have no need to rip off Metallica, or any other band. Thanx to u I can honestly say I found at least one other person with half a brain online....LOL
FYI: IT SOUNDS LIKE METALLICA BECAUSE A7X IS INSPIRED BY METALLICA. IF YOU LOOK AT M.T SHADOWS INTERVIEWS, HE EXPLAINS THAT THEY IDOLIZE METALLICA, AND WERE INSPIRED BY THEM. JS
The whole album was meant to sound like all of their favorite influences. Doing time has a GnR kind of sound to it, Coming home sounds a lot like Iron Maiden, and so on.... This was done as a tribute to all their favorite bands.
Just explaining why all the songs on the whole album sound like other bands. It wasn't that they "Idolize" anyone, basically it was just a tribute to all of their favorite bands, so ya, I suppose I do kind of agree with what u said, because others are saying they ripped Metallica off and thats far from the truth. They act like they know their music, and if that was the case they would have noticed the other connections in the album to other bands music. Check it out comparing the songs I mentioned before and you'll see what I mean.
