My older brother seen them live at Mayhem fest last year in MIchigan. And he said they were the best band he had ever seen live. I wanna see Avenged Sevenfold live so BAD!!!!!!!
I'm 17 and I've been drumming for 6years and I can never do the double ride like the rev but I must admit arin does a flawless job just as the rev would himself
Its hard to watch these videos without the Rev in the drummer seat.He was their allrounder a good friend,music writer,singer and ofcourse a badass drummer at that age !!! no one could replace him,but i'm sure that he's pretty happy with the present.
Look it is a figure of speech i'd really like to see him play again or hear his vocals in a new song, sadly we both know that won't happen, this is a great band ever sense 1999 so good day and life to you sir.

They sell them on the Dream Theater website and Amazon.com. They are t-shirts, but it's easy enough to cut the sleeves off. It's called the dreamscape t-shirt, I believe. I have one and it's my 3rd favorite shirt to wear.

Since everyone is talking bout Arin, well here I go. As of this point, Arin is currently their session drummer and there's nothing we can do about it, As much as the permanent spot goes, if A7X chooses Arin then so be it. However, there are alot of drummers are there who are much more worthy of the throne. Mike Portnoy, Joey Jordison, Joel Piper (Confide's 2nd drummer), and D Rock (Pinkly Smooth, the Rev's former band) and Chad Szeliga (Breaking Benjamin)
Look up Orion Fest 2012. Trust me, if you're anywhere near NJ then go. They're playing in June along with 30 other bands including Metallica (who's basically the main players at the festival) 2 days worth of music for $150.00
he's not really replacing the Rev no one can replace the Rev... he's just basically keeping the band alive by being their drummer.. yea i agree with you though he has to do some work but not to replace the Rev but keep the band strong

Arin Ilejay, who began filling in after Mike Portnoy did. I heard that they're going to try writing and recording with him on the next album to see if they can bring him on as the real-deal drummer.
