As it was said on an earlier song, sometimes people who don't know how rhythm games work assume that really high level players memorize the charts they're playing. They'd be entirely correct on this one.
I like to say that sometimes we commit specific tricky parts to memory, but it's more a general sense of rhythm and how to execute various common patterns. Scroll speed gimmicks and mine dodging are two big categories of "nah you gotta study this"
Well, he doesn't have to memorize the first 550 notes; that would be pointless, as he can just read them. Memorizing the last section allows him to use a scroll speed that's more comfortable to read for the rest of the song.
He was guaranteed to nail it with the ghost step as a drill surprisingly enough! Someone correct me if I’m wrong but with the current engine the window doesn’t extend further than the arrow immediately before it from the early side. In general even on Stepmania/ITG you can also do stuff like that up to a certain bpm (and this might fall within that threshold regardless)
@@ValladaresFelipe Even without disabling the boys you can do it up to something like 140-150bpm but yeah for something like Avenger for sure would need to be disabled to do that.
@@ValladaresFelipe it is possible to do it on sm, but after a certain speed i think the engine would end up giving you a great, since the hit window on itg mode is bigger than ddr
