Good question. We were charging more and only getting a few orders a week, but with the lower prices we average around 4 holsters per day now. The only way to keep up with this volume is to really streamline the process with patterns for everything, dip-dying, and a fast stitching machine. I also get a lot of help from my wife, who handles the shipping and customer service. Good luck with your business - it's not easy to make money, but it is rewarding to make something with your hands.
I now have three holsters from Clark Fork Leather. I love every one of them!@ These guys are making top quality products for prices affordable by most people, which is rare to find these days. I have two chest rigs, one OWB. If you are looking for a really good quality holster, these guys are the only place you should be looking at.

I love my chest holster, it is a great value even for twice the money. Yet it was way lower in cost than some other high quality leather holsters such as Kramer and etc...I'm sold this will be my holster company for a long time.
Why are you charging such cheap prices for such quality holsters? I'm attempting to start my own holster and leather goods and cannot see how I would make any money that way.
