Man, that is one beautiful airplane. Considering I had looked at this kit long ago and thought it was ugly but you have made ugly into one beautiful outstandingly awesome aircraft. I buy all my av gas there in Westerly. I could not believe that was where you were flying out of. Maybe I will see you there sometime. I am based out of Chester Airport. CT.
Are the performance numbers in the website corr3ct? Dose the 5Si really produce 296 lbs of torque? If so it would make it almost 2x as powerful as a stock O200!
You know what, that was a bit of a typo on our part. Our site had the numbers for N-m and ft/lbs mixed up. That has been corrected. The reported torque from factory is 296 Newton Meters or 219 ft/lbs. Still no slouch! (The 7U is closer to that number, at 287 ft/lbs. )
