This is fast becoming one of my favorite channels. While many content creators just summarize the info CIG releases, FoxyLoxy actually gets out there and tests the game mechanics and provides information useful to playing the game.
Plus he doesn't get overly negative either like some more jaded creators get. He just rolls with the issues the game presents and still seems to be enjoying himself.
@@zerentheunskilled Everyone has a different approach and that's beautiful. I think we need creators who can point out what's good, but also those who sometimes pour a bucket of cold water on our heads and show how sometimes it's bad. However, I like the balance, because even if the game has a lot of bugs, it's still just a game.
Thank you! I found that this setup is supposedly the highest dps for the amount of speed you get. 1200 m/s guns while retaining high dps and ballistic punch. You only need 1 pip!. Thank you for taking my comment! The 325a has always been my favorite because it makes me feel like I have a small home in the verse. But its a buggy ship. The customizations are bugged, the missiles are bugged, and the elevator is bugged. Not fun. 1 thing you did not mention is that the 325a has higher acceleration and the highest Gs of interceptors except the m50, which makes it better for pvp.
I'll throw in my 0.02, since I've owned both ships. First, let me say that I no longer own my 325a and still own my Avenger Titan. If you're new, you absolutely want the Avenger Titan over the 325a. They can technically achieve similar results in different gameplay loops, but everything is going to be more convenient in the Titan. You're going to save yourself from a lot of frustration using the Titan. The only two things to take into consideration for the 325a are that it has double the amount of missles (once it gets fixed) and it's luxurious compared to the Titan. Those are two VERY minor things to take into consideration. Take the Avenger Titan over the 325a any day.
@@CY3ER In the fluff, the 325 is supposed to be sold with a high-end WillsOp military grade targeting and tracking suite standard, that can lock and track multiple targets simultaneously.
Thanks for an informative and entertaining video. 👍Now I remember why I stopped playing over a year ago, just too many issues. By the way, the size 4 nose gun on the ships is called the “ Revenant” with an “N” like the movie with DeCaprio.
Personally, i prefer the 315p. It has 12 SCU cargo + a tractor beam allowing you to do a lot of interesting stuffs. It is not incredible at fight but its versatility is so good. And i forgot the incredible hydrogen capacity...
When I am first exploring new areas, I always use my Origin ships… 325a, 400i, or 600i. The moonroof alone makes it great for anyone riding with you, and it’s quite good. If you just wanna grind or only have 1 ship, then thr Titan is a great choice… but once you start getting more ships, the 325a has a better role in a fleet (luxury escort intercepter)
I'm currently running Rhino repeater on the nose and two Panther repeaters on wings, 2 dominator and firestrike missiles. But I really love gatlings and balllistics so ill prob go back to that. Btw, Alt+H will stack up the amount of decoys you release in one go. It sometimes doesnt show on the UI but you can see it in 3rd view (in case you didnt know!)
@@1111salas I swapped the Panthers for ballistic S3 Shredders, they're much better up close and against larger targets. They're also not as thirsty as Gatlings. I find they add a nice balance with Rhino.
@@1111salas I found the Rvenant just ran out of ammo too fast, but I might just suck htting anything with it :D But might work out for you. Canons I think are too slow RPM for something like Titan. I have tried different combos with the stock ones on the wings or a S4 M6A on the nose.
The 325a should be the better ship on paper since it fills more of a fighter role than the Avenger. Not by much but a bit. The 300 series also are very old ships and have not been brought up to standard. That's the CIG way: They raise expectations with brochures, sell you the ship and then don't touch it for many years. They keep the money, you keep the bugs and broken promises. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the game (just bought a MK 2). I only want to warn new players about the hot garbage state of the game since 3.0 came out. I also appreciate your effort a lot.
One of the good things about the Avenger series, losing a wing doesn't mean losing a gun. However on the 325a if you lose a wing you are down to 2 guns, lose another and you only have 1 gun. It also has dual access, ramp and ladder. As well as some gravlev bikes, you can also fit a PTV. I used to do hostile bunkers in a Titan, park outside turret range and drive a PTV in.
The pulse is far more stable if you ride it in to place and power it down where you want it, your player model has no hit box when riding it. I have put two of them in the cargo box of a Mustang alpha using this.
Fantastic video! So much excellent data presented so well, I appreciate it. In "Elite" terms, the Titan is the Anaconda of affordable starter ships. It does everything so well that, for purely practical reasons, you don't need the others. Anything else is personal choice for reasons other than practicality. Honestly, it's kind of annoying.
The Titan has had a Renaissance this patch. I almost melted mine, but now it's back on top, thanks to the interceptor tuning. I still really dislike the handling in atmosphere. It looks the most like an airplane, but handles close to the worst
I own a customize 325a. I think there are two packages for new players are, the Avenger Titan or the 315p. The 315p would be for the player who hates PvP and will want to run. My personal experience with flying the 325a are the wings are too fragile. When you lose a wing on the 300 series you also lose your gun attached to that wing. The extra quantum fuel and tractor beam will help more plus you can get coffee on those longer trips with the 315p. Just know that the upgrades cost money and if you upgrade, like the coffee maker, everything the ship will run you around $110. Which I paid because Chris needs to eat o7
The 300i was original game package before the hanger module came out. It's been a while since I flew one but they weren't they good for combat due to wings breaking off which is a problem across the whole 300 series. Unless they changed HPs or such the Titan was always better.
the hit effect of ballistic gatlings is really too much.. i cant see the target anymore when hitting it.. that made me crash into it more then i want to admit...
Funny enough the Avenger titan renegade has a bug for its reclaim. The reclaim becomes under 1 min when u reclaim it but it’s expedited is longer than that so it’s reverting to its original reclaim timer. I own the renegade because it has gold lights on its wings
Can you do some NPC crew testing please? When you do a bounty mission in universe, approach an enemy ship and eject from the fighter, at which point the bounty's NPC ship will be stationary in place, and it's easy to grab his ship by opening the hatch with a ballistic fps weapon. I've noticed that the grabbed Carrack doesn't seem to be able to do damage even though it continues to shoot, I'm wondering if it's only happend to me.
If only one ship, then I do recommend the cutlass black as it can do so many things a fighter F7C cannot, unless you are only focused on combat. (even combat the cutlass can be pretty good)
i saw the pulse in your video and was wondering; does the pulse fit inside the mustang alpha cargo bay, or better yet, the mustang delta behind the cockpit so you can have a little stealth drop ship?
Strange comparison, because I have both ships because they both serve completely different purposes. 325a is interdiction (in a very luxurious form), and Avenger Titan is light fright plus a little combat ability. Avenger is a nice starter ship to do almost everything for a beginner. But high risk combat begins with 325a, Hornet or Buccaneer. ;) (the numbers for the ships will change. Master modes is not balanced in any way)
It seems youtube deleted my comment on your previous video because of the links, so gonna post it here) On spectrum search for "960 bunkers missions to reach Lead Security Contractor?" The post has more details about the rep and link to a resource which seems to be pretty accurate.
Bro, if you are making a video for new players - they won't immediately want ships to carry bikes or fight an ERT! I started playing SC with an Avenger Titan - its the best starter ship for new players (note that its $35 more than an Aurora, $15 more than a Cutter) - you can run delivery missions with it, MRTs. learn trade with it. The 325a is not a starter ship (does not come with a starter pack)
i have a 325a as my base game package. but if you're a brand new player, get the titan. upgrade later if you feel the need. the titan is the better ship for playing all game loops. not to mention it's a fair amount less expensive in reeal world cash.
TLDR: get a Titan over a 325a (at the moment), they are the same stats wise, the Titan can do more and is a SH*T tone cheaper. That 325a has that LUXURY tax and then some. Honestly the Titan is better and has more health (just smaller missiles), I feel that the 325a is not justified in its cost at all (200k would be ok for its size with luxury tax, but not half a mill in game with no coffee machine is a rip off). The 325a needs better maneuvering at most (but not a massive amount) and keep the low health (to make it feel premo luxury car like), and also give that art imitating life. I.e Audi A3 Vs Toyota Corolla, the Toyota is better (overall, with what you get for price), but the Audi is more expensive (less practical for cost, come with extras standard) and does a little more (performance wise).
I personally don't like the design of the Titan, but I'd still be hard pressed to recommend anything in it's price range more, either for IRL cash or in game. It's an incredibly versatile ship.
essentially the titan is superior in almost all aspects, but the 325 looks better. Yes it has those 4 S3 missiles but missiles are pretty meh currently
Avenger Titan is insane. Fast, powerfull, cheep, universal. Everybody use the Titan. I hate it. I simply hate meta ships. Imho if one vechicle is clearly above anything in his class or price, it's effect of bad developer decisions. I can understand smaller advantages, like in medium class, multi role ships, but titan is small starter, and he is lot better than majority of dedicated fighters, and still can do bunkers, cargo runs etc. In other hand I don't like any origin ship, so If I would be forced to use one of these, I still choose the Titan.
Its about the only aspect that makes space combat exciting...luv it. When people make remarks like that, it reminds me of the ''king of the hill'' mentality of players who are always think they own the map, take great pleasure in boasting how they take out noobs, then when an aspect is changed the cry like babies because the playing field is leveled........learn to feckin fly you knob
@@shotgunmcshotgun1142 I'm a 325a long time owner. Every time CIG launches a new version, the missile bugs and we have to wait for a patch. This is a recurring thing. I love this ship, but CIG know very little about balancing their own ships. If your goal is PVP, you should stick to the F7A and forget everything else.
Titan. full stop. the fact that it has a cargo ramp and cargo grid opens up a world of possibility for you. what if you got a fluke drop of 1 scu of gasping wevel eggs from a lower tier mission (ive gotten a 2 SCU unit of them from a MRT). what are you going to do with it in a 325a? your going to look at it, and a tear is going to form at the corner of your eye when you realize that there is probably no way you can get it in that little door without blowing something up with glitches. lol
