The thumbnail made me think this was the OTHER Avengers with agents John Steed and Emma Peel. No matter, this was a pleasant surprise and very very nice.
@@SweatySheets I can see both, actually. But the Loren vibe is very strong. Perhaps we can come to the conclusion that this specific frame seems like taken right out of a Mario Bava movie, which might give Hepburn that Italian appeal.
Audrey Hepburn, James Dean and Grace Kelly are starring in the Avengers from the same team that brought you Forbidden Planet. I'd watch it. I even like the the Pathé newsreel voiceover.
@@2501vai if you grew up in the 50’s you’d know exactly what I mean. What AI able to accomplish at its infancy stages is absolutely amazing and scary at the same time. If you watch some of those early trailers you would know what I am talking about. But everyone’s entitled to their opinions. 🤙
Considering that Marvel comics started in sixties and the roots of these comics lead back to 1930-ies, 1950s movie style suit to Avengers much better than movies about them made at today.
Movies we wish had been made in the 50’s… absolutely on target. The look of the characters, the cinematographic filter, the sound and the narration, A+!
Darn - I saw the leather suit in the thumbnail and thought this was going to be the Emma Peel-John Steed Avengers! But James Dean as Iron Man made up for my initial disappointment.
I recall reading somewhere that starting in 1970, the Black Widow was redesigned to resemble Emma Peel. Gone was her original outfit (mask, cape, fishnets) and black hair color, replaced by the black body suit and red hair (we were told that her black hair was a dye job and that Natasha is a natural redhead.
Catwoman? There's no Catwoman in the Avengers. She's a DC Comics character. But speaking of cat people, was that Sidney Poitier as the Black Panther or are my eyes deceiving me?
They all look Phenomenal, especially Cap, Hulk, Black-Widow, Iron-Man & if Mis Marvel looked like this in her own movies people wouldn’t have complained
The 80s one was great. I'd love to see a Star Trek TNG era done in 1950s. Only cause we already know what TOS would look like. Be interesting to see how the 80s esthetic of TNG would look. Love what you did with Star Wars. Just the different esthetic that is different yet the same.
