I agree with your overall statement, but I disagree that someone like Josh should be the one. What started out innocuously as a cultural appreciation for everything Korean has turned into what some people might call it cultural appropriation over the years. Sure, it's all fun and game in the video but I could easily imagine a large population of the Korean public sensing something amiss with the whole ordeal. Why do Hollywood celebrities flock to someone like Josh to understand the Korean pop culture and the people to promote their movies in Korea, but none of them would never be caught dead doing something similar like that here in the States?
@@cskim4515 First, I'm not sure what is so wrong with cultural appropriation. Second, humans feel comfortable with others of the same ethnicity. It's the same reason why children in a classroom will flock to others who look similar to them. Tribalism is ingrained in our DNA. So, to try something new, we need someone who looks like us to help us feel comfortable. This guy is helping us overcome our natural tribalistic tendencies. We need more people like him rather than the conservative nutcases who like to support their own tribe.
I learned how to have a hypird fruit in 4th grade, a few words.... In science class my teacher showed us this video when we were in the life section and it explains how we can grow the same exact plant with a peice of the stem, because its DNA is the same, you have to cut part of it, different cuts effect its growth, and then he explained that you can actually do something to have a hypird plant, like animals, since plants have DNA, like animals, we would have to put the 2 DNA together, we can also have 2 of the same plants. For example, if 1 of the plant is good at growing fruits but not being sweet, and the other plant is good at sprouting sweet fruits but very little, if we put the 2 plants DNA together, the plant will be good at sprouting and making sweet fruits. How do i remember all this? Because he told us a year ago, plus i have the binder, so yeah.....
@@saimyintmyat9373Mantis. She's in the Guardians of the Galaxy. She first joined the cast in Guardians Vol. 2 and has a really cute relationship with Drax.
understand the Tom Hiddleston appeal now 🥰 The way he talks about the food, respect for culture, and he's not afraid to n depth and fully appreciates the food... perfection 💜
Tom (hiddles) is acting like a food critic saying stuff like "You get that normal, Kimbap taste, and then the cream cheese just comes in. Yeah, takes a finale. The cream cheese is the very last flavor you are left with" He sounds so professional and sophisticated all the time it's like he speaks in poems constantly
Él mismo es como un poema viviente. Siempre parece demasiado refinado, después de todo, sus estudios de letras y arte dramático lo dejaron hecho todo un caballero. Me encanta su forma de hablar.
2:36 i didnt realise that Benedict was making those sounds when tom was popping that banana milk top and drinking it. I thought the channel edited those sound effects🤣🤣
When Tom asks so innocently "HOW does a Hybrid... How?" as if he was asking where babies comes from 😂 Then Hiddleston and Cumberbatch are like the Mum and Dad "We'll tell you later"
@@hotbun11 I'm pretty sure that wasn't just for the BTS fans since everyone who watches k-dramas or pop culture related to korea know about that but yes.
I find it really amazing how a common person, a youtuber managed to invite several famous celebs with interesting format and him being a kind mc-like lol just as good as tv shows, or even more interesting to watch!
I don’t know how you do it Josh. You are literally like the coolest cucumber in the world. You have four of the biggest stars in the world sitting not even 3 feet away from you all at the same table and you manage to carry the conversation and entertain better than anyones grandmother ever could. You, like, even loosen up the stars in the process. You don’t act intimidated in the slightest. You don’t show nerves. You don’t even have Ollie to fall back on. You’re pretty epic!
@@raitonvedan2527 WHO said the opposite ? It's still impressive to be close to all those people you see in movies or theater ( especially Marvel actors and big names of Hollywood ), but it's not that people forget the fact that those are human beings, it doesn't change the fact they're world-famous. Be honest with yourself, you wouldn't spit on this "opportunity".
These interviews are the best thing man. You can really see all of the celebrities really enjoying the food. A great break from the constant same questions they're bombarded with. Plus they manage to learn something new as well. Makes it seem like the interviewer and celebrity are friends just chatting and not a one sided thing
Harman exactly! I was about to comment the same thing. I love seeing people do relaxed and enjoying themselves. They seem a lot more tense in those big interview types
Minute 6:33 Josh : "So Guys, You'll all part of the Marvel Universe" 4 of them : *fixing their pose* *especially Tom Holland who stop drinking the banana-Milk*
2:38 just observe how Tom Holland's opinion means so much to Benedict. Hes trying to read his every expression. Awwwww my heart. They are literally uncle and nephew.😍
Pom Klementieff is half Korean with a dark past. Her father is French-Russian who does of cancer and her mom (Korean) was schizophrenic. It gets even darker with her uncle who raised her and her older brother. Glad she found acting and has a successful career.
When Tom and Tom call each other Tom...I smile so hard for some reason! "Try some of this Tom! Its really really really good!" "Tom, tell me the flavors of the Kimbaps!" and of course the winner "Life finds a way, Tom." Why do I find this so amusing!? xD
@@Kevinthewoman I don't think they have any endorsments to any drink. Tom enjoyed milkis a lot that he was very enthusiastic about it which may give milkis an endorsment opportunity with Tom Holland. But when he tasted the banana milk, he immediately liked it better which killed off the opportunity. 😂
@@sallykim2083 ah yes, haha I realised s bit after it was more than likely a joke. But recently Josh and Ollie have been doing some pretty high profile Guest stars, so I was kinds like wait, it could be possible too. Thank you though!
tom hiddleston is such a gentleman, pure, kind, soft spoken, a perfect husband material and had a very nice smile. loki : i'm loki. the prince of asgard. odinson. god of mischief.
Glad they approved. Kimbap is such a iconic Korean food for me when I want something easy and quick to eat on the go. I’ve never tried to with cream cheese. Usually I just have the kimchee, fish cake or spam version. Now I wanna try that..!!

Yeah! Banana milk was my go-to when I was in Korea. It was so yummy 😋. When I went to mini Mart, it was always my first to pick 😋😋😋 I meant I really liked it
I don't know how I missed this video when you first posted it. But, it was great fun and I'll be searching for some of these items at my local Korean grocers!
