Vision’s speeches are always so poignant, I remember his final conversation with Ultron stayed with me for a long time, so happy he was introduced in this one, looking forward to you guys’ reactions :D

Hawkeye don't have any superhuman abilities but he's the best marksman on the world, he has the best shot on the world and it's not only bow and Arrow but Hawkeye can actually fight with any kind of weapon

Steve's sass and empathy disprove what you said about him in Winter Soldier: he really isn't a himbo. He is old fashioned in some ways, out of touch with the modern world, but he is far from clueless or unaware. He is clever, quick thinking, his empathy is a constant, and his sass just shines throughout the movies.

Vision was my favorite character since I started reading my older brother's Marvel comics nearly 50 years ago. I even went to far as to look for his two-issue origin arc, but I could only afford one of them as a broke kid. Still have it around here somewhere.

Don't worry about the Flash confusion. Flash from the Golden Age era Jay Garrick the original Flash to the more well known Sliver Age introduced Barry Allen Flash they’re all DC characters. The Speedster you see in this film is Quicksilver an X-Men character(Pietro/Peter Maximoff) but because Fox owned the X-Men movie rights Marvel Studio's couldn't refer to Pietro as Quicksilver on request from Fox but Marvel could use him and Wanda (His Sister) simply because both characters were also Avengers in the comic's creating a little loophole. Fox owning the rights is why both characters are referred to as “Enhanced Individuals” rather than Mutants also the reason why Pietro is never referred to as Quicksilver. Like I’ve mentioned Marvel also couldn't make any references or nods towards the X-Men, Mutants, or any other Mutant characters. They also couldn’t reference events from the Fox X-Men films which acted separately from the MCU even though if Fox really wanted to they could’ve connected the two together for example when Captain America First Avenger was filming Kevin tried to request a small Wolverine cameo as the character fought in WW2 but unfortunately this never happened. This was the case for the 2nd Amazing Spider-Man film as Marvel came to Sony with the idea of having Avengers Tower in the background connecting the Amazing Spider-Man with the MCU and sneaking connecting them together which never happened. Both Pietro and Wanda Maximoff are Mutants (Fox also owned that term) apart of the Brotherhood of Mutants later joining the X-Men (Was owned by Fox) and then later The Avengers. It's kind of like if DC were making a Justice League film but they did not own the rights to Batman but could use a character called Bruce Wayne they just couldn't refer to him as Batman or have him wear a batsuit. The Fox X-Men universe does have it's own version of Quicksilver who appeared a year earlier so maybe that's why Fox did not want Marvel to dive into there own version maybe the reason the character was killed off in this film.

I have to say cause I don’t know if it’s said enough I really appreciated the editing style of this video. Tony never quite got rid of his PTSD that we have seen in Iron Man 3. At least he didn't on-screen. So it makes that he will go for Ultron to never have to deal with another New York again. Also Hawkeye is my favourite Avenger after his TV show. You will eventually get there, so thats something you can get excited for.

I see Natasha’s flirtation with Bruce arose from two motivations. 1) She has been alone and as she stated found a guy that avoids fight because he knows he’ll win. I think she likes him. 2) Strategy. Hulk’s behavior around Betty has shown that Hulk will protect, not harm, Bruce’s lover. By being Bruce’s lover/partner, she’s not only securing her own protection from a guys she can’t fight, but also a means to help Bruce from himself.

Concerning the wood chopping, the Barton House is definitely off the grid so I'm sure that they would have to use a wood burning stove to cook their food and to heat their water.

I wouldn't say this aged like fine wine, maybe fine cheese?? Anyways because of the results of the things this film set up, it aged well. I still liked it when it came out, but I prefer the first movie because it was just special, you know?

I hope you guys take the time, whether it's doing reactions or just on your own off screen, to dive into some of the Marvel series. Agent Carter is a fun, short and sweet series, that has both Haley Atwell returning as Peggy but also Dominic Cooper as Young Howard from the Captain America: the First Avenger, it also introduces the real life Jarvis, whom you're sure to love. Agents of Shield is an insane roller coaster ride with a phenomenal cast and excellent writers, the only down side is length as it ran for 7 full seasons. And then you get into the more adult themed shows, several of which are simply amazing, Jessica Jones season 1 is possibly the best season of any of the marvel series and has the best villain in the MCU. Daredevil is probably the best all around series, great cast and Charlie Cox is so good he makes everyone forget all about the atrocious Ben Afleck movie. Punisher, who's character is introduced in Daredevil, gets a great series and Jon Bernthal like Charlie Cox, just takes the character and roles with it, making you forget all about the previous movie incarnations.

I am pretty sure that at the end of The Incredible Hulk when Bruce put that necklace into the envelope that was to signify that he was letting Betty go. I think it was implied that they finally broke off their relationship with closure for both of them and she went back to her fiancée while he decided to learn to accept his other self.

Yayyy, i've been waiting for this one!!! That new Wanda girl tho, she probably won't ammount to much On a serious note, I love this movie, soo underrated. Although i see the reasonable critics to it (the overly sexual and innapropiate jokes, the Ultron true potential and Pietro's death, to name some) it has such good scenes like the party at Avengers tower, honestly one of the best Avengers moments ever. And yes, this one really can be Age of Hawkeye if you want it to be

You should try chopping wood. I did it once and I'm a city kid, born and raised, and me and my friend found it kinda meditative. So, I get Steve and Tony chopping wood to just sorta work out some thoughts.

Concerning this movie feeling like a bridge, once you've actually watched the movies and you're going back to rewatch them and whatever order you want to, it's fun to watch winter soldier, age of ultron, and Civil War as sort of a triple feature. Your first time going through you don't want to miss the Guardians movie because it gives you the first clear understanding of what the Infinity Stones are and you kind of have to watch Ant-Man in between Age of Ultron and Civil War otherwise it won't make sense, but once you've gotten through everything and you're going back to rewatch things it's fun to watch those three back to back to back. They feel like a continuous story.

I am pretty sure that the vision Wanda put in Steve's head was to taunt him about the fact that he'll never be able to go home to Peggy. There's no way back for him, he'll never know what it's like to go home.

Yeah this romance doesn't land. And while Widow and Cap have great chemistry (probably from the actors long time friendship) I kinda prefer them as good friends. They both clearly care about the other but Widow is a woman who was indoctrinated as a young child and lies for living, to the extent that she struggles with who she is. Steve is a unflappable boyscout/romantic. In my head canon she realizes/is scared she cant give him the genuine earnest connection he needs, plus he is still pining after Peggy.

Just try to imagine the opening fight scene of this movie in "The Boys" style!😂🔥

Tony and Bruce are 2 of the smartest men on the planet and one is the foremost expert in AI. Neither of them thought they were even close to a working modal and had not seen evidence that the Ultron AI was capable of interfacing with their equipment and they had no way of knowing that there was an Infiniti stone in that scepter so blaming them is kind of out of line. If you want to blame something blame the Mindstone witch canonically is at some level beyond human understanding sentient

I haven't cringed as hard as I did, when Caleb with full confidence said the Flash was from Marvel, in a long time. As someone who's favorite hero of all time is the Flash, this hurt me on a level I hadn't experienced before.

Yayy another fantastic reaction Meg and Caleb. I'll be honest while I don't think this movie was as bad as others made it out to be, much of what you guys discussed about what you didn't really understand were pretty much what I didn't really like about the movie. Like the relationship with Natasha and Bruce I thought was kind of awkward at certain points. Also the biggest thing I really hated was them killing off Quicksilver. Definitely one of the worse things they did and it doesn't really make sense considering his power is super speed. But tbh I blame a lot of the things I hated about the movie on Joss Whedon and his writing. Thankfully this was the last Marvel movie he directed. Also I'm so happy you already love Wanda cause she's definitely one of my favorite characters in the MCU. Thanks again for another incredible reaction guys!! Can't wait for Ant Man!!

Probably an unpopular opinion but I prefer this kind of comedy with Thor. Hes not from earth, he doesnt quite fit, and there come some hilarious moments out of that but hes never really the butt of the joke. Hes not incompetent, hes not an idiot. I really wish they would have let him be that way.

Loki, Ultron, and soon, the Sokovia Accords keep being proven right. Super powered individuals (good & bad) are dangerous.

I do still watch your game play throughs. Horizon Forbidden West is such a great game. I’ve already finished it and now I’m playing the NG+.

Hey, Meg and Caleb! "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a massive film. It brings everything that precedes it together and launches the MCU into six new directions going forward while introducing eight new characters! The catalyst for all this change is a classic Avengers villain of their own making: the artificial intelligence known as Ultron bent on the extermination of organic life! The film loosely draws from the Avengers stories "Behold the Vision" and "Ultron Unlimited" with the key difference being that Ultron's creator was changed from Hank Pym aka Ant-Man in the comics to Tony Stark in the MCU. Director of "The Avengers", Joss Whedon, returns and very nearly succeeds at keeping all the plates spinning for this encore. He skillfully globetrots from New York to Johannesburg to Seoul to fictitious Sokovia in Eastern Europe for the breathless, apocalyptic climax! During an early scene of camaraderie, Whedon invites the audience to revel in the shared humanity of these larger-than-life figures while, in a later hallucinatory sequence, he exposes their inner frailties to us nearly shattering the team. It is this attention to character that invests us in the spectacle which Whedon provides in abundance with set pieces like the punishing Hulkbuster throwdown in Jo-burg, the exhilarating car chase and runaway train in Seoul, and the all-hands-on-deck, race-against-the-clock Battle of Sokovia on a floating chunk of continental Europe against rampaging robotic legions! Whedon even provides two team slow-motion money shots to bookend the film. The connective tissue is thick in this lynchpin chapter of the saga which has ties to six future stories: "Captain America: Civil War", "Black Widow", "Black Panther", "Thor: Ragnarok", "Avengers: Infinity War" and "WandaVision"! With so much happening, it is inevitable that certain elements get short shrift such as the Thor subplot while others remain questionable choices like the Hulk's romance with Natasha. That pairing is pure MCU and was never part of their comic history. One plot element that was drawn from Marvel's secondary Ultimate Universe was Hawkeye's secret family. In the original 616 Universe, Clint was an incorrigible tomcat who has bagged practically every female Avenger! Lol. It is also Hawkeye who gets, arguably, the best moment in the film when he delivers the greatest motivational speech ever in the heat of battle. The cast is appropriately huge and pulls from all the franchises to date. Robert Downey, Jr. returns as Tony Stark aka Iron Man with Don Cheadle as Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes aka War Machine and Paul Bettany as JARVIS who undergoes a major transformation becoming The Vision. A combination of synthetic organic components and inorganic vibranium controlled by an intellect that is part JARVIS, part Ultron and part Infinity Stone, he emerges as a mysterious and powerful presence sired by a villain yet capable of effortlessly lifting Mjolnir. The trope of an alien outsider who aspires to humanity is an old one but Bettany breathes fresh life into it with quiet thoughtfulness. Substituting JARVIS, Tony's new A.I., FRIDAY, is voiced by Kerry Condon. Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers aka Captain America with Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka Falcon and Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter who appears in a vision. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor Odinson aka Thor to portray the character in a straightforward manner for the last time. Representing the former SHIELD, Samuel L. Jackson returns as Col. Nick Fury with Cobie Smulders as former Agent and current Stark Industries employee Maria Hill as well as Aaron Himelstein as Specialist Cameron Klein who refused to launch the helicarriers at gunpoint in "Winter Soldier". Representing Hydra, Thomas Kretschmann reprises his "Winter Soldier" end-credit turn as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker as does Henry Goodman as Dr. List who portrayed his character between films on "Agents of SHIELD". Making their proper debut after their "Winter Soldier" end-credit appearance are Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, the Sokovian fraternal twins and Hydra volunteers who survived being experimented on by the Chitauri Scepter. James Spader's silky voice and sardonic wit bring Ultron to vivid life as a menacing A.I. bent on exterminating everything organic to fulfill his programming of ensuring peace. As 20th-Century Fox studios owned the film rights to anything mutant-related in the Marvel Universe, Wanda and Pietro could not be identified as such although they are mutants in the comics. Instead, they were designated as 'enhanced' in the film. The characters were able to be incorporated into the MCU because they are Avengers in the comics which meant that both Disney and Fox had access to them. 2. Since Ultron is nine feet tall, James Spader wore a harness with two stalks that extended three feet above his head upon which two red balls were mounted to represent Ultron's eyes! Spader's scene partners had to direct their gaze at the red balls when acting opposite him. 3. While the JARVIS A.I. is actually an acronym that means "Just A Rather Very Intelligent System", the FRIDAY A.I. is both a reference to the '40's slang 'girl Friday' otherwise known as a secretary who provides invaluable support to her boss as well as the 1940 film "His Girl Friday" known for its snappy banter which is shared by Stark and his new operating system. 4. A motion capture performance artist pioneer known for Gollum, King Kong, Caesar and Snoke, Andy Serkis did double-duty as Ulysses Klaue and as technical consultant on ILM's new motion capture system called "Muse" which provided more expressive rendering for the Hulk and Ultron. EASTER EGGS: 1. In the comics, Dr. Helen Cho is the mother of Amadeus Cho, the seventh smartest person on the planet and a close friend to Hulk and Hercules! 2. When Ultron first meets the twins in the church, he is draped in a crimson cloth referencing his first appearance in the comics when he hid his robotic face with a red hood and went by the moniker of The Crimson Cowl! 3. The band playing during Cap's hallucination are identified as 'The Roy Thomas Players'. Roy Thomas was Marvel's editor-in-chief during the 1970s! 4. Four Infinity Stones have been seen in the saga so far but "Age of Ultron" reveals that the Tesseract and the Chitauri Scepter gem are containment units for their Stones much like the Orb in "Guardians of the Galaxy" while the Aether can crystallize into a concentrated ingot! CAMEO: 1. Stan Lee appears as a World War II veteran at the Avengers Tower party who unwisely imbibes Thor's potent Asgardian ale leaving him unable to walk and mumbling his catch-phrase 'Excelsior'! END-CREDIT SCENE: 1. Thanos reaches into an aperture and removes an Infinity Gauntlet which he puts on and balls into a fist resolving to handle matters personally. The next chronological stop in the MCU are Episodes 20-22 of Season 2 of "Agents of SHIELD" which concludes the second season of the show.

Finally, you've met Wanda.. keep an eye out for her.. She is gonna be really awesome.. The gradual growth for her character is one of the best...

I really thhink that the realationship between Nat and Bruce was forced, because they didnt want Natasha and Steve because would be to obvious, but Chris and Scarlett they have excellent chemistry in real life they are very good friends, and Also they want to put the good imagen of Steve, and the men that only like Peggy, and the only choice left was Bruce, they couldnt put her with Thor, Tony or Clint so the only choice left was Bruce, Aside the I like her with Steve, I think that Natasha and the Bucky made a good couple both have their complicated and traumatic pasts, so they would understand each other very well

For so long now I've been looking forward to your introduction to WANDA. She's my favorite in the MCU and such a complex character (and gets more and more so as we go along). If you like Wanda and you also like Paul Bethany AKA Vision you're in for great ride. As always, amazing reaction but this one had significantly less chair dancing than some of the previous ones. Hopefully Ant-Man rectifies that.
