The best part about this scene is knowing that Steve was ready to fight an entire army alone limping with a broken shield not knowing everyone was coming back (that’s what hero’s do)
Did you know that out of all the times that dr. Strange went to see the future to see if they would win there was one where Steve fought thanos army by himself it was awesome lol totally got killed but it was awesome
Two years later and I still get some mist in the ol' eyes just SEEING this scene. One of the most effective payoffs in film history. Eleven YEARS of storytelling, building up to the moment all those portals open up, and Steve goes, "Avengers........assemble."
I would pay immense amounts of money if there was a way i could watch this movie like it’s the first time all over again. The sheer joy I felt when I saw this in theaters was phenomenal.
Experiencing this made us Americans forget that we hated each other over politics and racism and come together and cheer under one roof for a brief 3 hours. If only this was the Norm. I love America and the people in it. God bless each and everyone of you. ✌🏿 & ❤️
It's amazing how throughout Thanos's evil speech and his army arriving, the audience here is completely silent but when Sam's voice was heard and the portals for heros began to open the entire audience erupted in cheers and happiness. It was like finally seeing the light at the end of a dark tunnel.
As badass as it sounds having a whole movie theater go crazy, I would’ve preferred this I would’ve wanted to hear the damn movie and Enjoy it as much as everyone else. When I went to the movies on release, it was insane, but got annoying because I didn’t hear a single thing in the movie.
While it might sound really epic, when you think about it it can actually get REALLY frustrating to hear people screaming while there's dialogue or just any sort of sound coming out of the movie. This crowd was being respectful while still getting hyped at the same time. That's the sort of theatre I would like to see a movie like this in.
@@elizabethcatlion7015 it was in hype scenes only. We all have the basic curtecy to keep quiet. In the portal scene there wasent much dialogue. Aside from "on your left" and "avengers assemble" if the entire runtime would have been like this id leave.
It was good, but I think the everyone shouting "What?" at the end of Infinity War was better, then tensely hanging on for the post-credits and just even more "what?!"
It's sad to know they're also not too far away from leaving. Disney+'s hawkeye could be Clint's last one coz Kate Bishop (his daughter) takes the mantle and Thor love and Thunder could be Thor's last one coz Mighty Thor (Jane Foster) takes the mantle.
@@TheRandomeez Reading this I realise most of the lead roles and important ones will go to the ladies in the MCU's future. Black panther's mantel will be carried by shuri most probably, the new captain america(not a female lead i know) is not really liked by everyone. Im keeping my fingers crossed! 🤞
My brother was a Huge Marvel fan. Sadly he died two weeks before Endgame came out. I still tear up at this moment when I see it, thinking how proud he would have been
@@chillmushroom6016 Not surprising. Unintelligent people often have difficulty appreciating good movies. Maybe you'd find it more enjoyable if you learned how to spell 'boring' first.

A 12 year movie process that lead to the ultimate finale. The goosebumps Endgame gave me during premiere was an experience you could never get with DC.
I will never ever get bored of watching people react to Avengers Endgame. I will always watch them with a smile on my face, enjoying every second of it

Me too. I watch it before work sometimes because it makes me so happy lol and I wasn't even that crazy about these movies. I love civil war and the winter Soldier. And ragnarok. But these two last ones kill me 😭
Can we just appreciate the masterful score in this scene. Imagine how dead this scene would be without it. Holy shit that is how you write a climactic piece of music, they fucking pulled out all the stops in this scene and man did they deliver.
This scene truly defines what it means to be ruined and have that one prayer for help answered you knew would never come. No other movie in history shows that like here.

He likely requested it. But since he was behind him ,it was a 50/50 shot worse case scenario anyways. 🤷🏻♂️ But’s it’s funny to imagine that convo with Dr. Strange if he did request it. Or whichever space wizard sent him there from Wakanda.
Two years. It took me TWO F*CKING YEARS TO REALIZE THAT WAS A JOKE! But again, I watched Endgame without watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier so, it kinda makes sense.
This scene will forever send shivers down my spine. So many years waiting for te true line; "Avengers! Assemble." Just so many films and such a ride to get here. Not the best cinematography ever, but damn eas the journey worth watching every movie.
One of the best movies ever with the perfect cast. I just want to say that I've watched several videos of the audience reaction and they are all amazing. But this particular one hit home for me because they were silent just long enough for Captain America to say his awesome line that is one of the most unforgettable. "Avengers Assemble". Took my breath away

The second I saw Chadwick I started crying, and then the entire scene just made me cry. It’s crazy the feeling growing up with something and seeing it all come together will illicit from you as an active viewer in the experience.
40 years from now, our grandkids will look back and say, "man this is so cool to see people's authentic reactions!" Just like we did for Starwars 1980 reaction.
I remember the first time I saw Star Wars in 1977. I was 7 years old and we had a crowd like this back then. No other movie has captured that feeling since then, up until now. And Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back was the same way back in 1980 and I was 10. Man what a time.
I lost it during United 93 when the passengers finally take on the terrorists, even my sister and Mummy joined in the reactions which was unexpected. As they try to gain control of the plane, I was losing my mind by screaming “You all can make it!” but I cried when everyone died
I was nearly droping tears watching the scene when steve was ready to fight his last fight with the whole army alone, not knowing the others are comming

Doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, I still tear up and get shivers. Especially hearing other people’s first time reactions. (I do wish I could rewatch it for the first time again though).
This was Chadwick Boseman's final big moment in the MCU as the Black Panther. It breaks my heart to know he witheld his illness from the world just so nobody treated him differently, fighting his war in scilence until it eventually took him. I hope he knows he left behind a legendary legacy
I’ll never forget the moment I saw this in theaters. I was simultaneously shouting AND crying from joy! I’d been watching the MCU since I was a kid, and finally seeing over a decade of storytelling coming to its head in this way STILL gives me the chills!
Only Marvel fans know what this moment really means to all of us 🥺🥺 time really flies!! Someone take me back to this amazing moments that i lived in theatre that day !!
Man, I feel like I was in that room feeling a bit of that magical emotion when I went to see it for the first time there in April 2019. It is something that this movie cannot be explained my God save.
Same. My sister and I were lucky enough to get tickets for the night before opening night. The energy of the audience was insane. An experience I really wish I could relive. I also remember the collective groan of disappointment when there was no end credit scene lol
I still remember about tickets being sold out at literally every single movie theater in the country. My cousins and me planned on seeing the movie together but there was only room for the 2 of them so I decided to sit it out and wait till the next screening but on the premiere date there was suddenly 5 opened seats so everyone who didn’t had a ticket had to rush to the movie theaters to buy them since online purchase were closed.
On my way to the movie theaters I met a dad and his 2 daughters and we had a small chit chat together until my aunt ask “What movie are you all watching?”. They replied with Endgame and suddenly the tension builds up. By this point my cousin checked the seats and only 3 seats were left and my aunt and other cousin decided to tag along so we also needed 3 seats. What went down is basically a race through the entire mall to get to the movie theater first between the 2 of us and 5 other groups of people. We literally ran like Olympic runners and would always see the other groups of people rushing towards the movie theaters on our way there too. Luckily though my family was just right on time and bought the last 3 tickets to the movie. You did not know how good that felt.
A little theory of mine (a film theory, of u will), but I think that Captain America gets stronger over time. In his first movie, right after he gets the Super Soldier Serum (SSS), he can barely bend a metal bar or of shape when Red Skull blew up the HYDRA base where Bucky was being tested on. It took considerable energy, and he only seemed to be as strong as a normal man. In the Avengers, his text movie, he was able to send aliens flying with kicks and punches. You can tell that he is stronger than the normal man. Plus, with his shield, he took a hit from Mjölnir. You can tell he is much stronger than in his first movie. Then, in the Winter Soldier, you can see that he is definitely stronger and more durable than a normal man. He picks up a three ton metal beam in the end fight between him and the Winter Soldier, where being shot three times in the back (in his lifting muscles), and stabbed once in the right pectoral muscle. I'm guessing he could have lifted more of he wasn't so injured. I'm going to skip to Infinity War, where he stops Thanos' hand with both of his. Ik Thanos wasn't trying to kill Cap, but he still stopped him, and his punches made Thanks stagger almost as much as Spider-Mans full body kicks did. He definitely was getting stronger. Am I insane for thinking this? If u see this, tell me your thoughts
@@sorenhansen3288 I agree. This is even mentioned in the comics. As he ages, the serum continues to bind with his cells. He does hit a peak where he's the strongest he'll ever be, then there's a slow decline over many years but even as an old man, he still one of the strongest humans on the planet.
@@isaacvega8310 Really? Dang, I had no idea. I was watching the whole Infinity Saga over again and I noticed that Captain America (my personal favorite Avenger), kept getting power boosts over the movies. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who noticed 😂.
Man, experiencing this in theaters with other fans who went BALLISTIC at this scene made it all the more better! My brother and I were high fiving strangers and celebrating this epic finale! Marvel is amazing!
Ig this was the peak of cinematography and story telling Marvel can ever reach. All 12 years from Iron man 1 to this scene, all the characters in one frame, it's just phenomenal.
There are very few moments in my life that I wish I could turn back time to in order to experience for the first time again. Seeing this scene for the first time, opening night, with my little brother next to me, is one such moment. ✌🏽
This will always be beautiful to my eyes even when I'll grow old and grey,my eyes will water the same way they did the first time even when I'll watch it for the 1000th time.
I wasn't even there for any crowd reaction, but I keep coming back to this from time to time and I feel like I was actually there with the audience. They just bring me to tears with all that cheering and excitement. This scene is just one of the top greatest in Superhero history. Just historic. Thanks for the tears guys. Glad they got to enjoy the movie front and center. ❤
That sheer inner strength he has to get up and to fight entire army all alone is what i wish to have for myself and every man out there dealing with life..
I think the same, I saw the movie on Saturday of the first week of release, my theater was super quiet but I think we all enjoyed the movie internally, in my experience they were new sensations of epicness that I had never felt, lyrical Many times I was crying and smiling at the same time with happiness in several scenes (especially the portal scene). Greetings from Argentina brother
Aliens 1 : What are they doing ?!! Aliens 2 : They're clapping at a screen. Aliens 1 : I told you they weren't that smart... Aliens 2 : Atleast they're having fun tho. That's something we should learn from them ; Enjoying each moment of our existence even thought it's insignificent and so simple.
“For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much- the wheel, New York, wars and so on- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man- for precisely the same reasons.” ~My favorite book.
I remember this scene while watching it in the theaters. I literally had goosebumps and I had tears falling down my cheek because everyone just came back and this was the final fight!
