Finally! Good to see you guys again. You have been missed. The podcast with Dennis is also really good so keep doing what you are doing because it is fun to listen!
I've seen some people discuss whether this is immersive enough compared to other themes. My take on it before playing it, just looking at it, I feel like it's very immersive if you grew up reading the comics. The font, color schemes, art very much are callbacks to various timeframes for the characters themselves. Now, whether the light show, sounds, etc. bring in further immersion is the question I'm waiting to answer once I get hands on time. What do y'all think?
I got to play the Pro yesterday for about 10 mins. I definitely wasn’t blown away. The ramps are easily the best aspect of the game. That wide open playfield makes the game feel too bare imo. I don’t like that the pop bumpers are hidden in the back either.
Great video, game looks so fun! Hearing it plays like Deadpool just makes me want it more. We love our Jurassic Park, so I'm also glad this game is different than his last. Can't wait till Premiums are shipping and thanks for being great to work with, Zach.
Maybe you said this, can't recall, but it's inline with the story comment. The game doesn't appear immersive. You look at Jurassic Park and you feel like you are looking at a mini Jurassic Park, with raptor pen, t-rex, watch tower, truck, etc. When you look at avengers do you really feel like you are in the avengers world? I don't know, not sold quite yet.
Just bought my first pinball machine thanks to this show. I got the Avengers IQ pro. Quick question is a shaker motor loved by most enthusiasts? I rarely ever played pinball growing up, I don' think I every played pinball with a shaker motor. Thanks for your time.
This was a pleasant surprise. Great to see you guys back. Just some feedback. I think it would be cool if you guys reviewed some of the old classics to. Like what made them great and what you like about them. Or maybe show some entry level pinball machines that are great for people who are curious about getting into the hobby but are scared off by the prices of the new stuff. I know for me it was Pool Sharks. My buddy had one in his game room and I had just never even thought of having a pinball machine in my house didn’t even really know where to buy one. Next thing you know I’m on CL at his house looking them up and I was off and running. Just a suggestion You guys are awesome keep it coming
I hope to see a variation on the tower in other games. Awesome idea. Also I think the visible subway could be used again to even greater effect. Great job.
Hey Guys! Love the channel. I actually contacted flipnout the other day and finally realized that Zach there was Zach here...hahaha. Anyway I’m looking to get my first NIB machine because of this game. I was wondering, since you’ve had some time with it now, should I go with this or save some money and grab a Star Trek pro? Also, I’ve played Deadpool once, and I couldn’t hit anything. I guess I need to revisit it. Thanks guys! Keep making cool vids!!!
surprised that Williams/Bally drawing/painting? doesn't have an Addam's family reference. All the greats except one of the most popular. Ah, maybe because they weren't original characters and licensed from a movie?
The wobble on the spinning disc--by design?! Well-balanced review. Perhaps the licensing contract restricts towards comic representation and away from the movies'? Thanks SDTM!
Another great vid guys (like others said, great to have ya back!) Sooo...I am in the market (again) to add a 2nd machine to my collection and am looking at a Pro mostly. I am a big comic guy so this theme definitely speaks to me (agree with Zach..LOVE the pro art!) but if you HAD to choose btw this, Deadpool, or TMNT? Thoughts? (also considering a Batman '66 on the new run but then we bring the AIQ Premium into discussion lol). Thanks for any suggestions...and yes I WOULD be ordering from Flip N Out!! Edit: ok sorry some of that was answered at the end of the vid, so ignore Deadpool lmao!
@@mcnillerandsons7906 yeah they both have pluses and minuses I suppose, depending on what you are looking for! Congrats on the machine though either way!
Wow thanks for the review. Love your show. I'm in for a premium. I got a more classic JP backglass btw. Feels much more Jurassic Park with it 😊 Can only eecommend to change it.
Can't wait until the health / election stuff is over...my industry is in shambles right now..hording all my dollars until then...but then look out :) gonna drop some fun coupons!!!
Well shoot 🔫; now I'm going to have to get me an AVENGERS IQ premium for my collection now that I'm balls deep on the hobby with 4 fresh out of the oven machines
Bitchin' posters, dudes! As for the pin, like most modern Stern releases, I'm sorta wanting to say...."Ehhhh....okay then...." It definitely looks good, but the playfield seems a little barren to me.
I try not to base the fun of a pin on how much it has in it. Love SW and It’s pretty empty. Don’t get me wrong I’m not advocating for these pins. I want the toys and gimmicks!!!!! I want an immersive world, I just try to not let the lack there of, influence my thoughts on gameplay or how fun a pin is(Greg)
