ScreenCrush they’ll pull a Load Save 1 at some point with the time stone. Maybe if they want to be a lil risky they’ll leave some consequences in there.
This is what I want to happen. I can see something like every thing gets a reset and the superheroes they fight Thanos again and actually win, but at the cost of Captain America and maybe Vision. Afterwards Bucky becomes new Captain America.
A crap movie, badly developed characters, the villain's CGI is terrible, bored the first half and the plot is so ridiculous that makes the heroes depend on a single character at the end of it all. And that is my opinion of Justice League, Infinity War was intense and perfect.
bunny hariyani No one could lift Thor's hammer unless they were considered worthy enough because it was enchanted by Odin. Odin didn't enchant stormbreaker with that spell cause he's dead now. Anyone can pick up that battleaxe.
When Thanos is asking the Collector for the stone, there is a bit he does a slightly off funny voice. "Where is the Stoooone" You notice it right away if you know the reference. It's a Benicio Del Toro/ Franky Four finger reference from Snatch.
Decided to rewatch this one just because Ana it’s truly amazing how far you all have come since. Thank you guys for all the breakdowns. I never miss one
The scene where Ebony Maw tries to grab the Eye from Dr. Strange, which recalls a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark, also recalls The Wizard of Oz where the witch tries to grab Dorothy's shoes but can't. I think I've seen this idea played out in other movies too, can't think of any off the top of my head.
Kind of hard to rate it now as it is basically a part 1 of 2. So have to see how well it does/or doesn't setup Infinty Wars 2 to really fully rate it. If plot points are fumbled then it can bring down a rating quickly. Though as a stand alone review I would mark it in my top 5.
plus when tony in sanctum santorum, he talk to dr strange about 'a wizard who makes animal baloon' reference to jimmy kimmel show when cumberbatch appear to promote his dr strange movie as doctor strange himself for a spoof.
Did anyone else notice the original comic book version of Captain America's costume underneath his movie version?...In Imax it's so detailed..his suit is damaged in the chest area and if you look at the holes you can see the scales on his comic book costume...facts👍👍
There is another ester egg. When the battle in Wakanda begin, captain america and black panter running forward, and captain america pass the black panter from his left side. Its mite be a refrence to "captain america the winter soldier", who begin with Stiv Rogers say "on your left" to Sam Willson
When Tony Stark suggests to Pepper Potts about naming the dream baby after her eccentric uncle, Pepper responds asking "Mort?" I wonder if this is a reference to the late Morton Downey Jr.
Noticed coulson got a shout out when Thor said his friend was stabbed in the heart. One mystery never solved was why the hulk refused to come out. Was he still having a beef after ragnarok , or was he terrified to come out after being manhandled.
James Gunn confirmed in his fb live video that he is working on GoTG 3 script - so, all the characters that have turned to ashes will appear again in the movies (Spiderman, Black Panther, GoTG). Avengers 4 was filmed back to back with Infinity War (see IMDb page trivia) which means - 1/3 of Infinity War could be just one alternative story seen by Doctor Strange, who said that he would never trade the time gem to save Tony's or Spiderman's life (but he did?).
As Thanos stands to look over the fields in his “retirement” his armour can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on a scarecrow. Which is taken straight from the comics
not only does T'Challa call for sector 17a to open but..... iron man also tells friday to open door 17a from the avengers HQ which is the new iron spider suit that gets delivered to Spider-Man on the giant Q ship..... 17a has to mean something more...
17a happened to be the suit that IronMan called for when he was saving Spiderman from dying of lack of oxygen. It was the spidey armor with the arms. i imagine that if they used it also for the Wakanda scene that it has a more personal association to something to be used twice in the same movie. The Hulk was seen in that seen you referenced but he was wearing the HulkBuster, likely was adjusted for the trailer to keep secret the idea of Hulk not being Hulk and relegated to fighting out of Hulk form. As well as the Captain America scene where they altered the Infinity Gauntlet to only show 2 stones instead of the 5 that we saw in the movie. To likely hide the moment in the movie where the encounter was going to happen.
Looks like Avengers 4 will be called Infinity War 2. And Infinity War Trailers may have content from Avengers 4. Because lot of Elements in Trailer is missing in Movie.
Anyone else notice in the trailers when Cap. Encounters Thanos and grabs the gauntlet it only has 2 stones but when they fought in the movie the only stone Thanos needed was the mind stone. Just another example of how trailers sometimes lie to us to get us hype or hide facts like showing hulk in the forefront of the battle.
Yep, thats exactly what happened here. Marvel didnt want to give away a big part of the story line, that is why they only showed 2 stones. Otherwise having a trailer showing Thanos having 5 stones would give away a big part of the movie.
Frank Grillo is listed in the credits, I assume that's because he was supposed to make a return as Crossbones in this movie but perhaps he comes back in the next
Spider-Man makes a reference when Black widow in the first avengers movie is trying to control an alien flying thing. She says "turn turn turn!" When Spider-Man and tony are trying to fly the ship Peter says " guys I think we should really turn turn turn!" I think it's more of a reference than an Easter egg but eh.
Stark obviously has a big part to play... Otherwise Strange would've have given up the time stone. He knew from the 14,000,605 outcomes he glimpsed that there was 1 that was successful. He initially told stark he'd let him and spidey die b4 giving it up, then pleads w/thanks to let him live to save Stark. All the OG Avengers lived and Captain Marvel is on the way. Strange knew exactly what he was doing. I think Stark or Shuri come up with a technology from the time stone. It will allow them to go back to key moments to change outcomes. Hence maybe that's what Strange knew... He needed the original Avengers alive to team w/Captain Marvel for specific reasons...
I started the theory right after GoTG 1 that Ronan actually got pulled into the power gem during the final battle with the Guardians but when Lee Pace didn't appear in the End Game cast listing that killed any hopes I had of Ronan coming back and whipping up on Thanos. If you play the end sequence back you'll see the stream of purple energy start to disentegrate Ronan then the power gem sucks it all back up like a vacuum cleaner. Maybe we could still see Ronan in an end credits scene it just wouldn't be Lee Pace playing him. Paul Bettney doesn't appear in the End Game cast list either. That tells me the mind stone will have a big role to play in the possible undoing of Ultron and Vision. Who knows, maybe vision will have Friday's voice in End Game! :-) The girl who's the voice of Friday IS listed in the credits.
When thanos hits captain America with his gauntlet it has only the space and power stone whereas in the movie till that scene he got all the stones except the mind stone. 9:09
Bruce Banner's inability to summon the Hulk and subsequent use of the Hulkbuster references the "Dehulked" episode of the third season of the Avengers cartoons...
Maybe because he saw Black Widow--he didn't want to Hulk out in Ultron, but she literally pushes him into it, and then he takes off for two years. He needs some Hulk Viagra.
ok is nobody going to point out the part when captain america holds off thanos with his bare hands and thanos only has the blue and purple stone in the trailer but in the actual movie he has all the stones but mind stone
When Ironman and Spiderman are fighting Cull Obsidian in New York, Ironman says "Kid! Where did you come from?". Is it just me or did Spiderman respond "from the future"? Could this be in reference to the warped timelines?
I've seen the movie 4 times and everytime I hear him say "from the future" I think he was just trying to make a joke since it's in his character to make a 80's pop culture joke.Btw its probably from the terminator if it is what he said
It's "field trip." When he climbs back into the ship, Tony tells him "this is no filed trip..." and Peter says he knows, just before Tony "knights" him as an Avenger.
When Thanos has his foot on The Collector's chest, he asks "Where is the stone?" A reference to Benicio del Toro's character on Snatch, Franky Four Fingers. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BvfTNRsVGlM.html
Well in the next movie they’re going back in time to save everyone so that hulk scene may have been a scene from the next movie. But that’s just a theory.
Here my theory: Avenger 4 ending will be exchanging souls Half of the population that trapped in the soul world will be brought back to life and the other half will you know Why? Because there’s upcoming Doctor strange, Spiderman, black panther and guardian of galaxy movies in the future and the original avengers have their contract ended. Agree?
If Gamora expected Peter to kill her if she was captured by Thanos, why did she give up the location of the soul stone. Just let her die, save the world
Tbh i think peter quill should have not hit thanos because they would have already had thet glove off of thanos and then they might have won but he screwed it up for them
This is why the MCU is ace. They know how to get you hyped for trailers without showing you the versions of those scenes in the movies. Scenes like Spider-Man swinging on titan through the debris, Peter and dr.stranges introduction, even scenes of dialogue from Thanos are most in the first few minutes or when he’s talking about perfect balance that’s from a flashback. They know how to get you hype but also show you stuff that’s more like additional footage so you are not spoiled by any marketing.
Yeah,he didnot come on war scene, but why there's hulk on war scene on the trailer?weird huh?is that kind of mistake,or maybe...its war scene from 2nd part....i wonder...
Another option: he was worried that if he came out, Banner might never be able to come back, like what was said in Ragnarok. He was trying to protect Banner by not coming out.
The one Easter egg I think I found is in the battle of wakanda when everyone is charging. You see Captain America start catching up to Black Panther but “on his left”.
His character now is great, but I don’t think they spent enough time developing him from stubborn a**hat to an easygoing jokester Edit: I say easygoing like he was in ragnarok, infinity war was definitely more like his character.
Hey ScreenCrush, you missed the "he's adopted" callback from Avengers. In Infinity War, when Thor meets Gamora and finds out she's Thanos' daughter, Quill tells him "she's adopted."
Here’s an Easter Egg we missed first time around: when they’re subduing Thanos on Titan, Star Lord holds down Thanos’s arm with the same gear he used to grab the orb from its protective field.
Another one here: When everybodys getting evaporated, spider-man says "i dont wanna go". A reference to Nebulas actor, Jilian's role in Doctor Who, when the 10th doctor is also fading and he says the same.
What bout when the Guardians first meet the Avengers..StarLord says..who are u guys..spiderman says..we're the Avengers man..samethin Starlords..in the beginin of GOTG..
Thanos turning things into bubble is a reference for his Marvel vs capcom 2 counter part where he has a bunch of bubble throwing ability for no reason?
