You know what? There wasn't really a question though. It was verging on beating a dead horse. This interviewer is questioning about the question. He answered it, you know? I don't think a Access interview is quite the venue for discussing a divorce.
+James Robert That was the point. They probably told him to bring it up, but he did it in a way where he wasn't putting Chris on the spot about answering a question. However, he left it open so that if Chris wanted to talk about it, he could. You could tell that Chris appreciated his approach too. He visibly relaxed and started joking around. I loved it.
I guess it's also a technique to engage them to the interview. First you bring up a topic you know he'll be uncomfortable but do it in a graceful way, not in a rude way. This will still alert him (and probably her, because she'll be worried too) to the interview, because now this is not one of the thousand other boring interviews they did all day any more. He is forced to be actively thinking what to say and how to react. But, after getting his attention, quickly change the subject, even do it with a compliment if possible so that now he is relieved and thinks you didn't bring up it on purpose to annoy him and probably even you're a nice guy that you didn't push it and helped him dodge the subject. But because of the small amount of adrenaline rush he'll stay alert for a while. She's also relieved and happy for subject being changed and she'll try to contribute to keeping the mood up as she's automatically compelled to it when she was worried as people want to avoid awkwardness or their friend be upset. Which means, they are ready for a good fun interview.
This interviewer is one of the best I've ever seen. So respectful, kept things fun, and had the Zoe and Chris engaged at all times despite the fact the two had probably been doing interviews all day. Access, You better extend whatever contract you gave this guy!
lol buddy you must not know what access hollywood is because they definitely sent him in there with that question at the top of the list of things they wanted him to ask
@@rudy1999 She's short and short people don't look good with more weight but i know what you're trying to say,she looks like a toothpick but for her height she's alright at her current weight
Chris is the best!! I've loved him since parks and rec. and Zoe was so sweet when she put her head on his shoulder. You can really tell that they've all become like a family.
The interviewer and Chris were both so kind . I love how Chris nicely and calmly explained how he didn't want to talk about his divorce, nothing awkward or weird, just nicely declines.
So interesting and sweet to see Zoe mirror Chris' pain in her eyes before offering comfort by resting her head on his shoulder Such a sincere friendship
at least it seems mutual and the kid is still gonna grow up in a relatively normal environment. From what I heard their work kept them apart too much. There is always something else though....
Chris was trying to hard to stay upbeat after that divorce question. You could tell it struck a nerve with him :( Very sweet of the interviewer to not push him and try and take his mind off it though. Also loved Zoe resting her head on his shoulder to support him ❤️
Beginning was so cringey, you can see Chris and Zoe's face both saying don't you dare ask or press that question. Lol but such a nice and genuine interviewer
Detective Hawk He asked why and how he was so open about it, not why they got divorced. That’s what they didn’t want him to ask. I thought he was gonna ask that at first too
Picked up on what? That he was asking a question he had no business asking? I don't know why studio directors keep telling interviewers to ask personal questions because it only makes them look like d-bags. Nobody is watching this thinking: "Oh yeah! And ask him about that time he divorced his wife".
Dr. Manhattan He picked up on the fact that Chris didn't want to talk about it and immediately said we don't have talk about it. And had no inclination of further pursuit of the topic and changed it.
That's great but the question should never have come up. They're there to promote a movie. They need to stop asking the actors personal questions. They think those are the questions we wanted to hear but they're not.
Dr. Manhattan they are interviewers, although I agree personal stuff should remain private, that's their job. That's the format, the try to get a scoop that other interviews don't, difference being that other interviews would persist whilst the gentleman let off immediately.
Zoe Saldana is such a great actress and she really cares about her characters. I remember when i find out she was the one to play Gamora and i just got extremely happy. Gamora is my favorite character, she's so intelligent, so strong. I think they did a great choice casting Zoe for the role. She and Chris Pratt have such a beautiful and joyable chemistry you can see that they really have fun and love working together. It's beautiful.
Agreed! I was having a conversation with my friend the other day about how much she seems to really love and believe in the characters she plays, which helps bring an extra layer of phenomenal acting!
Who in their right mind would Divorce Chris Pratt. I'm a straight guy and I wouldn't mind living with Chris like everyday dude is positive and Funny as hell !!
His career skyrocktted and Anna Faris has been going down so she stuck with her kid and series thats close to ending while Chris is out filiming avengers and jurrasic park... huge career jump since parks and recs. He can't have another kid or stay at home longer cause he making bank. He married arnod swassnegr daugter or something though
Oh man... there were tears coming down Chris' eyes :( i felt so bad for him....i guess it was Ana that broke it off... cuz i can never see chris wanting to break out of that relationship they had. i dont kno the story but i feel so bad for him. he is maybe one of the most genuine actors in hollywood... like he is never arrogant in interviews or with his fans. he tries his absolute best to give time and take pictures with fans... so glad to see his progression from parks and rec to now star lord and top of the world. zoe as usual is my secret crush.. ever since avatar. shes a sweet heart as well
Jordan Harrington Jesus christ you people can’t be this mentally challenged, he’s just sweating his ass off there’s no tears anywhere grow the fuck up.
Anna comes off as someone with low self-esteem who can't handle being with someone unless they are "beneath" her. Once Chris got in shape and became really successful, she no longer felt good enough to be with him. Notice that the guy she's with is not her equal professionally. Sad.
This interviewer is the best. Oh man give him a raise. Not awkward, easy flowing conversation, made them feel comfortable, no awkward silences, suuuper respectful and understanding and very genuine. Great job!!
Both the interviewer and Chris handled the divorce situation with real class. I would like to mention though, watch Zoe's face during the whole time, you can clearly see how she feels. They have real love and affection for each other like *real* friends instead of just two costars promoting a movie. Their friendship of course has to do with the fact that both Chris and Zoe extremely friendly and loving people. Chris and Bryce Dallas Howard also have a similar kind of friendship because again you can just tell Bryce too is an extremely friendly and loving person. You can tell who are the genuinely nice people in Hollywood from the kinds of interviews, because it's not easy to phone it in all the time.
this guy is the best interviewer ive ever seen. he was incredibly respectful and not at all awkward. omg im genuinely surprised cause im on like an avengers interview binge and all of them were either awkward af or just plain bad. *clapclaps to you dude!
I love how Chris clearly did not get the context of the "bite Beyonce" question. Also, my heart goes out to him, what a lovely guy, and what a sweet friendship between himself and Zoe.
Great interviewer, he didn't push Chris and got them back on task without seeming controlling. Beautiful work- honestly I wanted them to interview him 😂
Pratt is a gentleman, and so is the interviewer. Much respect for how this was handled. I'd just like to take a moment and acknowledge that what happened to Mr. Pratt and his family, although shouldn't be in the public eye as much as it is, as we should respect their privacy about the situation. But allegations about other actresses or scenario's being fabricated for tabloids is just unfair. So, to Pratt, Ms. Farris, and their child I wish nothing but the best for you, and hope all things work out good for everyone. To many more years of Star Lord, and here's to a new Scary Movie coming soon #BringBackTheOGCast
