Aventador Replica Project - Part 19 Spoiler and Third Brake Light 

Intent is to finish underside of trunk , spoiler etc. That will come later. The cost I've shown did not include the partial chassis or the cost of the NAERC plans. The NAERC plans were for a Diablo and used a variety of sizes of mild steel 1 x 3, 1 x 2, 1.5 x 1.5, 1.5 x 3/4, 1.5 DOM and 1 1/8 DOM for suspension components. That being said, the NAERC plans are NOT a good fit for the Aventador. Have had to make extensive mods to accommodate different body style as documented in prior videos. As a point of reference, the Diablo 6.0 I built had over $65,000 in just parts.

@@lambobuildercopy that! Thank you so much for your response. Out of curiosity did you look into whether a Mercedes’ v12 would fit in the engine tunnel? I can’t find dimensions anywhere.

Engine compartment is 29 1/4" wide, 52 1/2" deep. It does narrow to 18" at the bottom which starts 8" from the bottom. www.lambobuilder.com/edb/Chassis/Frame/images/PB020012.jpg
