After nearly 7 years it is time to update my Nike Vapor Hybrid. I am trying to decide which Taylormade hybrid SIM2 or SIM2 MAX. I test both to see which is more suitable for my swing and skill level.
Mahalo! Great review brother, I recently got the SIM2 4H, and found it to be a clutch club because of what you had mentioned in your review, take care and God Bless from the 670.
You've got a nice delay at the top of your swing. Very cool! What is that move you do in your practice swings, where you take your left foot way behind your right? Does that aid in your rotation, getting your chest over the ball?
Aloha my friend, yeah that pause at the top of my swing is my quirk, I tried eliminating it but I end up spraying the ball and my timing gets way off. Regarding taking my right foot back, you are correct, it is to help me with a deeper shoulder rotation. Mahalo for your support! 🤙🏽🙋♂️
@@krashum Hmmm... I don't know if I'd call that a quirk. I think it's brilliant. Actually, it's so interesting I looked it up again. I read about it for the first time in Tommy Armour's book "How To Play Your Best Golf All The Time". On page 104, he writes: "One very simple tip will infinitely improve the timing of most golfers. Merely pause briefly at the top of the swing. That is the greatest single aid I have been able to give to eliminate the worst fault in the golf swing: that of starting to hit from the top of the swing." In the end, of course, whatever your pro says is probably right. But I think a pause at the top is great!
@@golfchill4920 wow that's very interesting, I've never heard that before but I find it to be true in my case. I've tried to eliminate it at the advise of others but like I said previously I ended spraying the ball and it threw my timing into total disarray.
