I love that they give these with the decks. Usually I average an extra $10 on a case of decks for most sets.

I pulled a Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls in my collector sample pack from the Valgavot precon deck. Now I have 2.

This is really interesting way to do a giveaway. I never even thought about checking the value on sample packs, I always just assumed I'd get junk.

I just got back into MTG for the first time in about 10 years, been loving duskmourn so far as I am a huge halloween and horror fan, had to make sure I came back for this set haha!

I think the video for the sample packs are Most intresting, because no normal buyer will ever have so much of them and can open them all at once. Thanks for doing these.

Never seen someone do a mass sample pack opening! Love it!

These sample packs are always hit or miss. My brother had bad luck in duskmourn and was hyper lucky in Bloomburrow pulled the white mythic calamity but two rares started out cheap then became valuable. At least he got only uncommons he wanted in some decks. But it appears the foild uncommons are mostly those with the monster in the back treatment. My brother had Bookworm and Norin with the Monster in the back. I couldn't tell if you had Norin in that version too. The Growing Dread 0:41 looks different too but there isn't suppose to be any monster treatment for that. Still it looks like there is more black in that uncommon. But that aside and look if it is different from regular Growing Dread it may have sth odd with it that may even make it more valueable if it somehow got a different foil treatment on accident. Not sure if it always look like that in foild but it looks special since the contrast is different and there are a lot of areas blacked out. As I said not sure if that is actually how the foiling for the card looks like but they did sth so the dark areas are even darker in that foil.

collector booster samples would be cool for shop freebies on some purchases, really interesting to see! Would be crazy to see a textured/fractured foil out of nowhere, doubt they'd put any of those in these though!

Just saw a post where I guy pulled the one ring from a sample pack, so don't know if they made changes to what goes into the sample packs but for duskmourn it would have been nice to get the lurking monster cards or mirror monsters at an increased rate

Actually love the sample packs. I got lucky and pulled a full art demonic tutor from the commander masters sample pack that came with the planeswalker precon.

I got the double exposure Mind Skinner from mine, I didn't like the art compared to other of the same style, but least its an interesting card to build around

in my valgavoth precon i found razorkin needlehead in the reflected art! i litteraly screamed because i needed that card!

There are a couple uncommons that are worth some money, especially in foil: Untimely Malfunction and Withering Torment.

man love duskmourne i managed to pull a nice full art screaming nemesis from my sample pack but it does feel like you dont get much. also that baseball bat was inlike very other pack lol

The sample pack openings are really interesting as I alway wonder how much value they give from a collectors pack.

Never will the sample pack fromLOTR will be so hot! Where they had exclusive foil extended art that you cannot find anywhere else!

as much as i think that pre-cons have a little too much in them other then just the deck that might drive up the price more then it should, i still like that they throw in a few extra bonuses that makes buying a pre-con feel more unique.

It’s nice to get 2 extra cards when you get the commander decks but if they want us to be excited to get collector packs maybe give a better value in each sample as a incentive to buy the normal collector packs
