For real, Tomato and chat loved this game, it's got a ton of depth for being a 1 man project, and it's only like 8 bucks, I reccomend giving it a look if it even mildly interests you, truly a hidden gem on steam
@@ExtrnalSorce2 Also in the first text box that appears after you leave your house and load onto the road talks about a loud trumpet being heard. Which I could be wrong but either in the Book of Revelations or The Old Testement, trumpets would blare at the end of the world. Never did I think from just looking at this game that it would have symbolism and well made references.
With how involved chat is with Tomato's adventures, a fan should absolutely make a (with chat) version of the vods, like how there are for Joel and Jerma! Seeing the HUHHs, MICHAELs, Slugs, monkaS&Ws, KKonas, and D:s would certainly be fun. :3
Project zomboid really fumbles with ingenuity. I'm convinced the game could be so much better if the controls weren't so obtuse and some quality of life changes were made instead of for the sake of immersion. I'm pretty into immersion, but there's a fine line where it stops being fun and starts being annoying/boring... like reading books for example. The game should instead just straight up give you books to read that have vital information on how to do other things in game, like what ammo goes for certain guns, and what to do if you need to cure an infection, etc.
