Another funny moment during the 2006 NBA Finals: Dallas Coach Avery Johnson gets pissed after a question he doesen't like at all. I kinda feel sorry with that poor journalist.
Reporter was basically asking how he felt about the bullshit calls Wade was getting, trying to get an emotional response out of Avery for Dallas news. Coach knew this and flipped it on him, the reporter knew the calls were bullshit but he didn't have the balls to say it in a room full of people.
Lakers need to get rid of Vogel and get a veteran "general" who will call you out on your crap and thats Avery ,why he's not a HC in the league is beyond me
I think the point was that Wade got two very debatable free throws (following a phantom foul call) to win the game and change the momentum of the series. Everyone in the room knew that. Of course, Avery would be pissed about that play and that's why he, instead of answering the questions, wants the reporter to acknowledge that those free throws for Wade were bullshit.
The momentum was changed at end of game 3. Game 4 subsequently was a blow out. End of game 5 was not phantom foul as there is clear images the Devin Harris grabbed wades wrist of shooting arm
Avery had to say that because "we got people from Israel, and and um Minnesota, Chicago, all over Dallas, you know Germany" who also wanted the honassed answer from the reporter as much as Avery did.
It's already history!! that's the past!! At least they got the 2011 NBA finals... so what the 2000 finals was rigged oh, so what if the referees didn't call about on one player that's all in the past.. the finals was 14 years ago

very mature and respectfull avery. show your players, your city and your team your true colors. but still if i were a coach i would like to be coached by this guy. he's so military and so straight up no bullshit, that i feel he could make a man out of anyone.

It's really hard to say that AJ was actually pissed off in this interview because if anything he may have just been annoyed with the reporter's question and handled it in a calm and professional manner like he always does. To be honest I have never seen him fly off the handle.
because in the 2006 NBA finals it had been game 5 and dwyane wade made 2 free throw shots which made the miama heat win by one lucky point and gave the heat a 3-2 series lead over the dallas mavericks and avery johnson was mad as hell about so when that dude asked him about his impression he immidiately just snapped.
