Bruce Campbell was supposed to play Darkman, but the studio didn't think he had enough acting experience at the time.

The bird with the water is a reference to the movie where Neeson first blows up, the bird was connected to a bomb.

The game did pretty well making references if you see the movie. All it needed was a pink elephant. But the gameplay and level design are not good at all.
